Because of Waukeen's recklessness, almost all of the High Forest had been shredded by the Spatial Storm. Only a few places protected by the Nature Pantheon and the Elven Pantheon remained.
The Father of Oaks had appeared and managed to send most of the uncontaminated animals and Treants to the Treants' Ancestral Court in time.
Corellon, too, had been forced to strengthen the defensive arrays around those places. Big Oak alone could never have saved so many lives.
Even Tyr had come. He knew Corellon and the Father of Oaks would not protect the humans, so he had appeared and wrapped his avatar around Hellgate Fortress, saving everyone there. The cost was that Tyr probably would not be able to send another avatar to Toril for some time.
