Hill looked at the giant screen and smiled gently. Leonard had won Edna's favor, but it clearly wasn't romantic. That meant the danger he encountered was still within a controllable range.
As for constantly running into big bosses because he had a good relationship with Edna, there was no need to worry. Whenever the heroine faced true danger, she would always unleash her small universe.
The ones who had split up, on the other hand, were mostly in for bad luck... If there was a male protagonist, then given the Fate Tablet's dog-blood-drama-planner nature, an ending where everyone died wouldn't be surprising at all.
Besides, Nature Mages were basically focused on support. With the Priests and Holy Knights unable to act, Leonard could heal wounds, dispel poison, and lift curses, so he essentially had no chance to risk his life in battle.
According to the usual positioning of Western adventuring parties, Leonard should be standing behind Edna.
On the giant screen, Edna darted around Hidden Town like a little whirlwind... Every shopkeeper who knew she was about to set out on an adventure cheerfully gave her a parting gift, then watched her buy an identical one for her Half-Elf friend.
Once the four young Mages arrived with their followers and caught up with the little girl, they twitched at the corners of their mouths before buying the same model as Edna.
The Mithril Elves had always spoiled the only minor in the town. Although they offered the newcomers the same adventuring gift boxes, they had specifically given the Mages the standard models, which were either gray or black.
Edna's tools and equipment, however, were specially made in alternating pink and silver. They had clearly been crafted from Mithril and Aurora Steel... Besides its exceptionally girlish color, Aurora Steel could self-repair.
