Once a number came up, the enemy's Luck Value would be reduced to one to six times less than your own!
Ever since the Radiant Pope had blessed William, his Luck Value had reached six, putting him tantalizingly close to double digits.
And six divided by any number from one to six gave a Luck Value between one and six.
For William, then, the Misfortune Dice was an excellent item. It could drag an enemy's Luck Value down to his level.
If he rolled a six, he could even let them experience the wonders of a Luck Value of one.
Heh.
