The Great City Built on Corpses

Sword Qi flashed, and thunder rolled like a sea.

Everything within tens of thousands of meters—trees, flowers, grass, Magical Beasts, and animals—was crushed to dust in an instant.

The immense pressure was like a mountain dropping from the sky.

Everything except William vanished. Even the ground sank dozens of meters.

The countless Spatial Rifts their clash had created were already on par with the power of a Saint.

the two did not keep fighting. Their exchange had been more of a test.

But after they briefly separated, one remark from Sword God Soderos told William why they had attacked each other on sight.

"One-Handed Thunder God, you're still alive... What a shame." Soderos glanced at Thor's left hand.

Thor the Thunder God nearly exploded with rage. He knew this was no place for a duel, though, and merely sneered. "Hmph. I wonder whose idiot sword lost a whole grade after I hit it with my hammer. And you have the nerve to mock me?"

Soderos narrowed his eyes. Eternal Annihilation trembled faintly in his hand, as if it understood the insult and wanted to unleash unimaginable Sword Qi at the enemy before it.

The Prince hurriedly cleared his throat. "We're all on the same side. Let's talk this out. This is the Underworld God's territory, after all. Even if we aren't careful, we should at least show him some respect."

"Hmph!"

"Heh..." Neither attacked, but each let out a small sound of derision. Clearly, neither cared much whether the Underworld God woke up.

Still,

they genuinely did not dare fight again.

After all these years, who knew whether the Underworld God would show them any consideration?
