Do it.
"Do my ass. I don't have time."
William ignored Changli Jiugu and turned to leave.
The followers of the Wildfire God, River God, and God of Hunting—all of those quests had been issued by him personally. Their rewards were incredibly generous, with massive amounts of experience.
The purpose was to have Players become followers of deities, locate their Emissaries, gradually investigate them online, and report everything back to Dawn City. Even switching factions did not matter. As long as they completed the quests, they could return to Dawn City afterward.
But the three Wild Gods were extremely cautious. They knew that the Chosen Ones of the Legendary Continent were basically all affiliated with Dawn City, so they warned their followers and Divine Envoys never to reveal their identities to Chosen Ones.

The Wild Gods would rather forgo the Faith of Chosen Ones than let William discover them.
They were not particularly afraid of William.

Because they were deities, but they were also merely pawns of the Main Gods.
So no matter how hard the Players tried, they could not become followers of deities, much less learn who the Divine Envoys were. Basically no Players could complete those three quests.
Especially after William caught the look in Changli Jiugu's eyes, he knew the man wanted to privately strike a deal with him—for example, recruit him into the Glory Club.
As for doing quests?
Dream on.
Changli Jiugu then watched the Artistic Gunner leave quickly. He could only shrug and say to his teammates
