Eat Him
Odom faced the most brutal battle of his life.
It was a Pale Orc with Legendary Bloodline.
But Odom also possesses the glory of the Northern Gods... the Glory of the Lone Mountain Dwarves.
Even though he was only level 54, and even though he was far from being a match for Altai, he still had the blood of the Heavyhammer family flowing through his veins, and was still an incomparably brave Warrior.
He was wielding an Epic-Class Thunder Hammer, clad in Epic-Class armor set... He was determined to fight this Pale Orc to the death.
So, with his superior equipment, Odom held out for 5 minutes, but was on the verge of being completely overwhelmed when Alec found an opportunity to ambush Altai and successfully saved him.
However, the Orc forces, having been discovered ahead of time, ultimately suffered a devastating blow.
If they steal the Chrysanthemum, the Dawn Legion will be in serious trouble.
The crucial point is that they not only revealed their footprints, but also coincidentally allowed Alec to discover their hiding place, which means they were really unlucky.
The two elite armies clashed fiercely, and needless to say, the Legendary Orc Altai's forces were inevitably forced into retreat.
He failed to seize the opportunity and maintain the right rhythm in his attack.
Given equal numbers, Orc forces would have a hard time defeating human Legion.
Although in terms of individual combat strength, a level 65 Altai could easily defeat all Epic enemies, there were simply too many Epic surrounding him...
Especially since this was the Dawn Legion, handpicked by William, whose Elven Royal Guard were exceptionally Unrivaled and each one a mini-boss. Fighting the so-called Elite Orc, who were only Intermediate Bloodline Orc, was incredibly easy for them.
The Bloody Bonecrusher over three meters tall, confirmed his name.
This Troll, wielding an enormous spiked Spiked Club, charged into the Orc army, unstoppable. He was like a Tiger tank of his time, capable of changing the course of even the smallest of battles.
Altai's vice-general also possessed Epic Bloodline; he charged forward immediately, but chose the wrong opponent...
Faced with a near-level 70 Troll, his bloodline proved largely ineffective, as the troll easily killed him with a few blows.
Fiu Lesse was equally brave and displayed his true fighting prowess. Slaying weaker opponents was just right for him, and he grew fiercer with each battle, fully demonstrating the valor of the Minotaur. His two golden bull horns shone brightly on the battlefield, and he charged at anyone who dared to defy him.
Altai at level 65 was very strong, but after his secondary character died prematurely, he faced too many Epic Boss.
Despite their numerical advantage, they could only suffer repeated defeats.
Just like William, who didn't dare to rush forward recklessly when facing four Epic-Class Bounty Hunter.
Unwilling to accept defeat, Altai could only slink away with his remaining 500-odd Orc.
Odom did not press his advantage because the objective of this war was clear: the Demon Cavern.
Even though he learned one thing during the battle—that he had become a target and even had a deep-seated hatred for Altai —he was still unaware of the consequences.
But he also felt hatred; his ancestor had clearly perished along with him, hadn't he?
But this was ultimately the result of Altai's invasion.
Although Odom had a bounty of 100,000 Gold Coin on him, it was something Altai did on the way.
Knowing that he had implicated the Dawn Legion, Odom immediately led 3,000 men into the valley after seeing the signal inside Mist Valley, leaving the other soldiers and Mercenaries to guard the outer perimeter.
The Mist Valley wasn't very large, but the Dawn Legion, numbering as many as 3,000, led by Shield Warrior, thundered its way in.
But the scene that finally came into view was the most breathtaking!
Almost all the Dark Creatures in the valley were gone; the ground was littered with corpses, leaving no place to even step.
A tall Demon was eaten so much that very little flesh remained.
That powerful aura still lingers to this day.
The most worrying of all is their City Lord... William Black Leaf.
His once-glorious Thunder Set was now in a terrible state, probably needing to be completely redone; it was utterly beyond repair.
Most importantly, his face, which could make any girl in the city swoon, was now disfigured...
It's hard to imagine what the Lord has gone through in this situation.
What's interesting is...
Lotner and Eric were mostly unharmed, with only a little blood on them.
Seeing his colleagues glaring at him, the two could only silently endure it, not daring to utter a single word. But they really wanted to say that it was clearly agreed that they wouldn't go to help unless someone asked for it.
This is a special order from the City Lord...
Lotner, however, was still a cut above the rest. He quickly told his colleagues how brave and domineering William was, Unrivaled, and how he looked down on everyone else. He claimed that the Lord had killed almost all the Dark Creatures in the valley.
Anyway, after a round of boasting...
Everyone else's attention shifted to William, and Lotner and Eric finally breathed a sigh of relief.
However.
After William and the others united, they realized that the enemy they were about to face was far more complex than they thought!
A massive cave deep within the Demon Cavern.
There is an Altar covered with strange symbols, constructed of pure Obsidian, Altar the dented symbols are filled with bright red blood.
The entire Altar is now shining brightly, seemingly releasing some evil aura.
Directly in front of the Altar is a narrow Spatial Gate, behind which lies a dark vortex— the Dark World.
Occasionally, some low-level Dark Creatures would emerge from it.
But because of the resonance of the Altar, the Spatial Gate is now growing larger and more stable.
The Black Warlock Kasa, who was originally level 50, had now been stripped naked and bound with black vines.
Kasa now only wants Makulide to spare his life, but his mouth is already gagged.
"What a magnificent body!" Makulide circled his 'apprentice' a few times, scratching him hard with his fingernails.
Kasa cried incessantly in pain, so Makulide slapped him hard across Kasa body. "What are you crying for? I can only get some benefits from you by sacrificing you to the Demon. Otherwise, what have I been doing raising you for all these years?"
A flushed palm print appeared.
Kasa stopped yelling. He already knew his Destiny. If he couldn't resist, he might as well accept Destiny.
Makulide grinned wickedly, took out his Staff, and began chanting a spell.
As the incantation was recited, the blood on the Altar slowly floated into the air, gradually forming dozens of incantation characters.
As the incantation appeared, the spatial fluctuations grew increasingly intense!
Moment!
The crimson incantation disappeared.
It's like... stepping through Spatial Gate!
Makulide closed his eyes.
He was waiting for the Demon's feedback.
He knew that his apprentice was outstanding and possessed Talent far surpassing his own.
Although he did not want to Sacrifice his disciple now.
But he couldn't take it anymore.
Time is passing.
Ten seconds.
Thirty seconds.
Forty seconds!
A terrifying aura swept over us!
Makulide knelt on the ground in a panic, then exclaimed with delight, "Welcome... the great Andumari!"
A handsome Demon slowly emerged, a captivating smile on his face, and said softly, "No, I am merely his child."
Makulide dared not move. He knew he had said something wrong, but it was all just flattery.
The handsome Demon stretched out his finger and drew a bloody line on Kasa's skin, completely ignoring Kasa's struggles and fear, and simply savoring his blood with relish.
The handsome Demon smiled slightly at Kasa and said, "I like you!"
Then.
He suddenly opened his blood-red maw and swallowed Kasa whole!
In a fleeting moment.
Kasa was eaten...
The handsome Demon extended his serpentine tongue and licked his lips. "What a delicious little thing. If I like him, of course I'll eat him."
Then, he spat out a ball of black energy and tossed it to Makulide, before walking upwards without looking back.
"Your offerings are quite nice, but I'd like to eat some even more delicious little cuties."
Kuri saw that the Undead and Elite Dark Knight he had summoned long ago no longer cared about his orders and followed the Demon upwards.
He narrowed his eyes, unmoved.
Only after the Demon disappeared from his sight did Makulide's lips curl into a smile as he slowly retreated into the darkness and vanished!
