Li Wei nodded in greeting, having no idea what the lady of the Golden Forest wanted with him.
As Galadriel gradually approached, Li Wei could sense a faint sacred glow seeping from her, as though it meant to purify him.
Li Wei unconsciously raised his head and met her gaze.
If he remembered correctly, this lady's ability to perceive the future far surpassed that of the wizards and other Elven lords. She could see farther and in greater detail.
The moment Li Wei raised his head.
Instinctively, Galadriel tried to see something through his eyes.
Yet when she truly attempted it, she froze slightly.
She could see nothing...?
"Your future is filled with uncertainty."
After a moment of silence, Galadriel said this.
Li Wei did not know whether that was praise or something else, and for a moment, he said nothing.
Though she could not see the deeper reaches of the future, she could still sense some of Li Wei's near-term possibilities—especially when those possibilities intertwined with the fates of others, allowing her to infer them indirectly.
"Many possibilities in this expedition lead toward ill outcomes, but with your involvement, perhaps those things can be set right."
"I wish you a smooth journey, adventurer Li Wei."
"Once this matter is over, you are welcome to visit Lothlórien."
At that moment, Galadriel became quite curious about Li Wei's utterly blank future. Having lived so long, this was truly the first time she had encountered such a thing.
When he came to the Golden Forest, she could try using the Water Mirror to reveal it.
"Thank you for your blessing. I will."
Galadriel smiled and nodded.
Li Wei felt slightly dazed. When he came back to himself, that holy figure had already vanished.
"Li Wei!"
