Background / History

Li Wei arrived in Middle-earth wearing strange clothes and initially appeared to be an ordinary, gentle-faced traveler with black hair. Though Middle-earth had been his dream destination, he understood its dangers and believed his original abilities would have made him an ordinary, vulnerable man there. 1

He began his journey using Minecraft-like abilities, including an inventory, crafting, block manipulation, and system functions. Early expeditions brought him into conflict with Corpse Demons, Barrow-wights, bandits, half-orcs, Orcs, and Wargs. His victories quickly made him known as an unusually capable warrior and a wielder of “wondrous magic.” 6 8 9 65

After discovering an iron vein, Li Wei built his first fortress. He refused to abandon it when warned that an Orc cavalry force of more than a hundred, including Warg riders, was approaching. The fortress later became Roadside Fortress, the foundation of his growing territory. 10 15

Li Wei expanded Roadside Fortress from an isolated stronghold into the Free City-State. He took in refugees, established resident ranks and permissions, organized labor, opened trade routes, built Nether transport routes, and supported education through a dedicated school. 98 99 109 150 151

Over time, he became a major figure across Middle-earth. He rejected Gandalf’s suggestion that he become High King of the North, treating the title with indifference. 280 He is also reluctant to exploit others for reward, returning the Axe of Durin to Thorin out of friendship rather than personal gain. 146

As a ruler, Li Wei is compassionate but structured.
