Even dripping water could wear through stone. Under Kartana's relentless attacks, the stone that changed its fate finally cracked open, revealing the core within—the thing Xia Chen had guessed was a Radiant Stone.

The energy seeping from the Radiant Stone traveled through the blade touching it and entered Kartana's body.

That energy seemed naturally opposed to Haze, gradually devouring the Haze lingering within Kartana's body.

And just like that, Kartana awakened.

Though it did not understand the principles involved, it vaguely sensed that its transformation was related to this stone. It called it the Holy Stone and used daily slashes against it to keep its mind clear.
