The truth of the Ultra World was too heavy, and Xia Chen had not even noticed when he finished walking down Spring Boulevard.

Perhaps sensing Xia Chen's mood, Xerneas seemed to have lost interest in continuing their stroll as well.

After taking a quick lap around Central Park in Lumiose City, the God of Life hastily ended its first tour in three thousand years and followed Xia Chen to where his parents were.

More precisely, this had been Xia Chen's most important purpose in seeking out Xerneas.

There was no questioning Xerneas's life energy. It had wrought the miracle of instantly restoring even a destroyed ecosystem to its original state.

Healing two humans who had merely been poisoned by Nihilego was naturally even less of a challenge. It almost felt like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut.

Strangely, after the two Nihilego had been separated from them and the toxins in their bodies had been removed, Xia Chen's father and mother did not wake up immediately, even though the instruments showed that all their vital signs had returned to normal.

Xerneas guessed that their consciousnesses might still be immersed in the lingering inertia of the illusionary dreams created by Nihilego. Once the remnants faded away, they would awaken.

Xia Chen felt that this was not bad either. For some reason, he did not think he was ready to face them yet. Better to let things take their natural course.

Once that matter was dealt with, Xerneas directly bid Xia Chen farewell.

After all, the atmosphere of a human civilization's city was far inferior to nature. The God of Life could not wait to return to the natural world and enter slumber once more.

Xia Chen grumbled inwardly that Xerneas was the perfect example of charging for two hours just
