After the ambush left Ma Xiaotao grieving and Shrek devastated, Mu En ordered Xuan Zi to care for the survivors and announced that Shrek would withdraw from the tournament. Huo Yuhao stayed beside the sleeping Ma Xiaotao as the night settled over Shrek City.

• Ma Xiaotao asked Huo Yuhao whether the students who died had suffered, then mourned the companions she had promised to protect.

Huo Yuhao killed Su Mo in the Far Northern Land and claimed his soul bone, Myriad Souls Banner, and remaining luck. After taking Ah Yin, Su Mo, and the Millennium Ice Silkworm into the Undead Demi-Plane, he left and contacted Myriad Demon King.

• Su Mo and Ah Yin reached an ice valley to hunt a Millennium Ice Silkworm, guided by the old man in Su Mo’s mind.
• Huo Yuhao appeared in the valley and sent Ah Yin crashing into the ice wall with one strike.
• Huo Yuhao killed Su Mo, who dissolved into motes of light as the old man fell silent.

• Electrolux explained that the savage beasts' souls had been erased and proposed refining their remaining power into Huo Yuhao while the Dragon God's Bloodline reshaped him, and Huo Yuhao agreed.
