Background / History

A advocated exploiting Konoha while it was fighting Iwagakure and Sunagakure, but the Third Raikage rejected an immediate war declaration. Instead, he ordered A’s partner, Killer B, to continue training their A–B Combination’s Lightning Plow Hot Knife 25.

During the Hidden Cloud front, A confronted the famed “Blood-Red Flash,” Obito Uchiha, after Obito remained behind to cover Konoha’s retreat. He initially let Killer B test Obito in a one-on-one duel, then entered the fight when B’s sword style failed to overwhelm their opponent 48.

Personality

A is direct, aggressive, and eager to measure powerful opponents for himself. He treats combat as a test of strength, but he also adapts quickly when an enemy proves more dangerous than expected 48 51.

His bond with Killer B is his defining priority. Although they are not biological brothers, A considers B closer than family; he willingly takes Obito’s Rasengan with his arm to protect him 50.
