Chapters 126–150 Vol. 2 Read

Ch. 126Resurrection

Uchiha Gen finished reforming the Land of Fire, destroyed the sealed Black Zetsu, and used the Rinnegan to resurrect Uchiha Izuna and Uchiha Haru. Haru woke and embraced Gen, while Izuna remained unconscious.

  • Uchiha Gen announced reforms dividing the Land of Fire into thirteen regions, abolishing conscription, and warning officials to return embezzled money.
  • Uchiha Gen retrieved two scrolls Kuro had swallowed and destroyed Black Zetsu after releasing him from the reinforced seal.
  • Uchiha Gen opened the second scroll, found Tobirama's head and the bodies of Izuna and Haru, and used the Outer Path—Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique to resurrect them.
  • Uchiha Haru woke first, recognized Uchiha Gen, and embraced him as he apologized for not coming sooner.
  • Kuro pointed out that Izuna had still not woken up.

Ch. 127Meeting Again Like Old Friends

Uchiha Gen revived Izuna, who questioned the meaning of bringing the dead back and asked about their lost clan members. Gen then showed Izuna and Haru how the Land of Fire had changed, leaving Izuna astonished by its population and the Uchiha Clan’s growth.

  • Haru embraced Kuro as Izuna awakened, and Gen explained that he had revived him and recounted the events of the past twenty years.
  • Izuna questioned whether resurrection made death meaningless and asked why Gen had not revived the Uchiha they had lost; Gen apologized for acting selfishly.
  • Haru and Izuna asked about Madara, and Gen said he did not know where Madara had gone after faking his death and doubted they could change his intentions.
  • Gen took Izuna and Haru from the Ninja Cat Clan Grounds to explore a village and explained the Land of Fire’s farms, food production, and population.
  • Gen told Izuna that the Uchiha Clan was approaching one hundred thousand members and that he planned to break the clan into smaller groups as the next generation grew up.

Ch. 128The Three Tajima Brothers

Uchiha Gen brought Izuna and Haru to Miyue’s home in Kyoto, where they met his disciple and discussed the uneasy peace in the Land of Fire. Izuna and Haru suggested killing the former ninja clans, showing that they still thought in the ways of the Warring States era.

  • Izuna asked Uchiha Gen about his grandnephew, and Gen explained that his granddaughter was the daughter of two disciples he had taken in.
  • Uchiha Haru recognized Izuna’s secret hand gesture and blushed, but she told Gen that nothing was wrong.
  • Uchiha Gen teleported Izuna and Haru to Miyue’s villa, where they marveled at its steel gate and modern surroundings.
  • Miyue welcomed Uchiha Gen and met Izuna and Haru, while Gen introduced them as his older brother and friend.
  • Miyue explained that former ninja clans were absorbing knowledge to preserve their strength, and Izuna and Haru proposed eliminating them.

Ch. 129Family Banquet

Uchiha Gen shared lunch with Izuna, Haru, and Miyue, then agreed to accompany Miyue’s daughter Uchiha Hikari to her practical exam. When Hikari came downstairs, she mistook Izuna for her grandfather and questioned why he looked so young.

  • Uchiha Gen told Izuna and Haru to study the laws he had established so they would avoid trouble with the police.
  • Uchiha Gen prepared a large lunch while Miyue explained that Uchiha Hikari had a practical exam involving her summoned beasts.
  • Uchiha Gen agreed to accompany Uchiha Hikari to the exam after warning that the Slug might use dangerous acid.
  • Izuna eagerly devoured the meal while Haru sat stiffly until Uchiha Gen encouraged her to treat the house like home.
  • Uchiha Hikari came downstairs, and Izuna and Haru were shocked by how much she resembled Madara.
  • Uchiha Hikari mistook Izuna for her grandfather and asked why he looked younger than her mother.

Ch. 130Sending a Child to School

Uchiha Gen reunited with Uchiha Hikari and took her to the Ninja Academy, where he advised principal Yanta against creating a special class for children from ninja clans. The school’s existing divisions remained, but Uchiha Gen argued that ordinary students should persist rather than receive separate treatment for clan heirs.

  • Uchiha Hikari recognized Uchiha Gen by his scent, and he gave her a lifelike vine sculpture of himself with her on his head.
  • Izuna worried that Uchiha Hikari might be his elder brother reborn, but Uchiha Gen assured him she was not.
  • Uchiha Gen sent Haru and Izuna home, then took Uchiha Hikari to the Ninja Academy and met its principal, Yanta.
  • Yanta told Uchiha Gen that the students had formed cliques and proposed creating a Special Class for children from ninja clans.
  • Uchiha Gen rejected the Special Class, warning that it would reinforce privilege, and urged Yanta to trust that hard work would eventually pay off.

Ch. 131Summoning Beast Test

Uchiha Gen watched Hikari’s class prepare for a Summoning Beast test and noticed Might Duy among the students, whom he urged Yanta to consider for taijutsu training. Hikari performed the Summoning Technique, and the unexpected result stunned Uchiha Gen, Yanta, and Hyuga Himan.

  • Uchiha Gen recognized Might Duy among the students and told Yanta to review the boy’s file and consider arranging a taijutsu path for him.
  • Uchiha Gen asked Yanta to recruit people who knew music, insisting music could influence world peace.
  • Hyuga Himan brought his students to the field and explained that Summoning Beasts would not betray masters who formed strong bonds with them.
  • Rimang told the students to pair up and test their bonds with their Summoning Beasts.
  • Uchiha Hikari slammed her hands against the ground and used the Summoning Technique, shocking Uchiha Gen, Yanta, and Hyuga Himan.

Ch. 132Hikari's First Awakening

Uchiha Hikari awakened a Double Tomoe Sharingan during a training test after summoning Kuro, who easily defeated her opponent. Uchiha Gen suspected Hikari’s awakening was a kind of resuscitation, and years later he received a letter from Itono saying she had entered a new realm.

  • Uchiha Hikari ordered Kuro to fight Aburame Yehei’s giant longicorn beetle, while Uchiha Gen watched and wondered how Hikari had summoned Kuro.
  • Kuro held back against the beetle until Uchiha Gen telepathically urged her to end the fight, and Hikari awakened a Double Tomoe Sharingan amid the dust.
  • Kuro pinned the beetle with one paw, and Rimang declared Hikari had passed the test because her bond with Kuro was strong.
  • Uchiha Gen told Yanta that Hikari’s Sharingan awakening seemed unusual and that he suspected she held a great secret.
  • Two or three years later, Uchiha Gen received a New Year’s letter from Itono in the Land of Iron, who wrote that she had entered a new realm.

Ch. 133Itono's Full Strength

Itono received Nianyuan after reaching Kage-level strength, then challenged Uchiha Gen to a battle to test his strength. Their fight lasted through the night, ending with Uchiha Gen carrying the unconscious Itono from one of his controlled worlds after using his Third Eye to defeat her.

  • Itono named the sword Uchiha Gen had given her Nianyuan and admitted she did not know what to do next.
  • Uchiha Gen encouraged Itono to pursue whatever she wanted, and she asked to spar with him.
  • On a deserted island, Itono unleashed her Eight Gates, Breathing Technique, Mangekyō Sharingan, and powerful sword attacks against Uchiha Gen.
  • Uchiha Gen used Amenominaka to move them to one of his controlled worlds, where Itono revealed her eye could turn damage and unfavorable reality into dreams.
  • Itono entered Sage Mode, and she and Uchiha Gen fought through the night until he used his Third Eye to defeat her.
  • Uchiha Gen emerged from a crack in space carrying the unconscious Itono, whose injuries had healed but whose clothes were nearly destroyed.

Ch. 134The Land of Wind's Ambition

After Itono’s battle left her eyesight badly damaged, Uchiha Gen searched for his ruined laboratory and decided to restart his genetic experiments with a new team. Meanwhile, the Land of Wind’s Daimyo ordered Sunagakure to reclaim Rōran, whose prosperity had drawn away much of his population, and Gen gathered biological experts in Kyoto to establish a Gene Bank.

  • Uchiha Gen knocked Itono unconscious with the Third Eye after she risked her life fighting him, and he worried that her damaged eyesight would limit her potential.
  • Uchiha Gen found his abandoned laboratory near the border, discovered its equipment and supplies had decayed, and destroyed the site before deciding to build a new one.
  • The Daimyo of the Land of Wind learned that residents were leaving for prosperous Rōran and ordered Sunagakure to take it back within two years.
  • Uchiha Gen established the Gene Bank and summoned more than a hundred biological experts to Kyoto.
  • Uchiha Gen handed the experts confidentiality agreements, and they questioned whether the documents were contracts selling themselves.

Ch. 135Restarting the Gene Project

Uchiha Gen began a secret gene-fusion project to overcome the Mangekyō Sharingan’s limits, using selected experts and captives in a Kyoto laboratory. Half a year later, the experiment was still underway, while Izuna wondered whether Gen could truly cure the Mangekyō’s flaws.

  • Uchiha Gen explained the project’s strict confidentiality terms, and thirty-six experts signed on while the rest hurried away.
  • Uchiha Gen outlined gene fusion, demonstrated his multiple bloodlines, and ordered the experts to begin fusing Uchiha Sharingan.
  • Uchiha Gen continued the experiments and arranged for criminals and rogue ninja to be brought to Kyoto as the seasons passed.
  • Uchiha Izuna walked Dahuang and asked Miyue and Itono about Gen, then privately hoped he could resolve the Mangekyō Blood Wheel Eye’s flaws.
  • Uchiha Izuna joined Miyue’s household for dinner, where Haru spoke of her lost marriage and the women shared a moment of sadness before Xiao Guang called them to eat.

Ch. 136The Joys of Youth~

At the end of Year 24, Uchiha Gen gave Izuna medicine to evolve his Mangekyō Sharingan, only to discover Izuna had neglected his training, and treated Itono’s eyes with another dose. As Year 25 began, the Second Kazekage, Fūma Yōkan, continued investigating the Land of Fire’s forces while mapping out how to reclaim Rōran.

  • Uchiha Gen brought Izuna a blood-red vial, but found that Izuna had not trained enough to awaken his Mangekyō Sharingan, so Gen decided to supervise him starting at five the next morning.
  • Uchiha Gen celebrated New Year’s Eve with his family and friends at Miyue’s house, where they made dumplings together.
  • Uchiha Gen gave Itono medicine that healed her eyes and doubled her ocular power, then stepped away when she instinctively tried to kiss him.
  • The chapter moved into Year 25, when the Second Kazekage, Fūma Yōkan, marked a world map while investigating the Land of Fire’s soldiers and their unfamiliar Chakra-powered weapons.

Ch. 137Moon

Second Kazekage Fūma Yōkan prepared to attack the Land of Fire with the Land of Water and the Land of Lightning, while Uchiha Gen searched for the moon passage and flew to the moon himself. There, he found the lunar clan’s Giant Tenseigan and clashed with Otsutsuki Wuli over the clan’s supreme treasure.

  • Fūma Yōkan discussed deploying troops with his advisers and maintained contact with the Land of Water and the Land of Lightning, while the Land of Earth remained silent.
  • Uchiha Gen searched the planet for the moon passage and Madara, but found no trace of either, so he flew into space using Amenominaka to replenish his energy.
  • Uchiha Gen landed among the lunar clan, then vanished after spotting the Giant Tenseigan and headed straight for it.
  • Otsutsuki Wuli pursued Uchiha Gen and attacked him with Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion.
  • Uchiha Gen used the same technique to meet Wuli’s attack, and their collision shook the moon.

Ch. 138Rinnegan Self-Destruction

Uchiha Gen stole and absorbed the Giant Tenseigan, greatly strengthening his powers before returning to confront Wuli. Wuli exploded in rage and engulfed Gen and the moon in a burst of white light.

  • Uchiha Gen took the Giant Tenseigan from the moon’s guards and absorbed it inside his space, strengthening his Tenseigan and expanding Amenominaka.
  • Uchiha Gen meditated to steady his confidence, then returned to the empty room and escaped outside when Wuli attacked.
  • Uchiha Gen told Wuli that the Giant Tenseigan had been left to watch over Hamura’s descendants and that Kaguya Otsutsuki was sealed at the moon’s center.
  • Wuli seized Uchiha Gen and began self-destructing, disrupting Gen’s attempt to escape through space.
  • Wuli’s explosion engulfed Uchiha Gen and the moon in white light, making people on Naruto Planet think it had suddenly become daytime.

Ch. 139The Moon Split Open, Princess Kaguya Unsealed

Uchiha Gen recovered the unconscious Kaguya Otsutsuki after the moon’s destruction and realized another Ōtsutsuki, Isshiki, might still be on the Naruto Planet. Meanwhile, the Land of Fire fought off a massive invasion without Gen, and Kazekage Fūma Yōkan ordered the Jinchūriki brought forward after a month of heavy losses.

  • The moon’s explosion sent debris toward the Naruto Planet, and Uchiha Gen used gravity to pull back two-thirds of it.
  • Uchiha Gen found Kaguya Otsutsuki unconscious in space, examined her, and suspected she had ambushed Isshiki to claim the Chakra Fruit.
  • Uchiha Gen decided he could not ignore the possibility that Isshiki remained on the Naruto Planet.
  • The Land of Wind launched a surprise attack on the Land of Fire, joined by the Land of Water and the Land of Lightning, while the Land of Earth stayed out of the fighting.
  • The Land of Fire held its first defensive line with ordinary firearms, while the invading forces and coerced smaller nations suffered massive casualties.
  • After a month without breaking through, Kazekage Fūma Yōkan ordered the Jinchūriki brought forward.

Ch. 140War Escalates

After returning from the moon, Uchiha Gen discovered that the Land of Fire had been invaded and fought back with thousands of Shadow Clones while the Uchiha captured the Tailed Beasts. The fighting ended inside the Land of Fire, but Gen's forces pursued the retreating enemies, and he remained at the Pentagon with the captured Jinchūriki and unconscious Princess Kaguya.

  • Sunagakure's monk Bunpuku refused the order to release Shukaku until he was forced to comply, and the Jinchūriki broke through the Land of Fire's defenses as other nations joined the invasion.
  • The Land of Fire's Daimyo expanded the military and offered titles for merit, while the Uchiha formed a Mangekyō Sharingan squad to hunt the Tailed Beasts.
  • Uchiha Gen returned from the moon, found Shukaku battling Uchiha ninja in his territory, and pulled the beast into the sky before knocking it unconscious.
  • After learning that Kaminari, Wind, and Water had attacked, Gen created more than ten thousand Shadow Clones and sent them to drive the invaders back.
  • The Shadow Clones repelled the enemy, and Uchiha clansmen captured the Tailed Beasts; Gen's forces then pursued the retreating armies without mercy.
  • Uchiha Gen stood atop the Pentagon with the captured Jinchūriki imprisoned and Princess Kaguya still unconscious beside him.

Ch. 141Grand Unification!

After the Shadow Clones destroyed the Allied Army’s ninja forces, Uchiha Gen abolished the Daimyo system and announced his goal of unifying the world. He conquered the Three Great Nations but struggled to govern the vast territory, leaving him considering autonomous provinces.

  • Uchiha Gen learned that his self-aware Shadow Clones had slaughtered nearly all the Allied Army’s ninja, leaving the Three Great Ninja Villages devastated.
  • Uchiha Gen abolished the Daimyo system in the Land of Fire, merged military and government, and announced the title Head of State.
  • At a public address, Uchiha Gen promised compensation for war casualties, agreed to consider lowering the legal working age to fifteen, and declared his intent to destroy the Three Great Nations and achieve Grand Unification.
  • In the twenty-sixth year of the Land of Fire, Uchiha Gen sent his expanded army into neighboring regions and received dozens of surrender documents as the Three Great Nations fell.
  • Uchiha Gen struggled to hold the occupied territories, found that even deploying his remaining Uchiha clansmen was insufficient, and considered dividing the realm into autonomous provinces.

Ch. 142Strange Vortex

Uchiha Gen buried plague-stricken civilians along the Land of Fire’s border, then spent the following year bringing the great nations under his control. His expansion was interrupted when Cha Uzumaki, wielding Madara’s Rinnegan and an elusive teleportation ability, arrived to kill him, and Gen began testing a new way to hit him.

  • Uchiha Gen sensed an eerie green plague at the Land of Fire’s border and buried the corpses and contaminated ground with World of Trees Advent.
  • Uchiha Gen spent nearly a month absorbing the plague with the Bagua Array Disc, Naraku Zhubila, and suspected the artifact was protecting its master.
  • Over the next year, Uchiha Gen used his recruited soldiers to force the Three Great Nations and smaller countries under his control.
  • Uchiha Gen received word that a red-haired man in a black robe with red clouds was approaching, met him near the former Konoha ruins, and learned he was Cha Uzumaki, who had come to kill him.
  • Cha Uzumaki used Shinra Tensei and Bansho Tenin against Uchiha Gen, then repeatedly vanished whenever Gen tried to strike him.
  • After Cha Uzumaki taunted him, Uchiha Gen stopped using All-Killing Ash Bones and launched Cha away with Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack.

Ch. 143Instant Kill

Uchiha Gen tracked Cha Uzumaki to the Land of Earth and confronted Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, who planned to make him a reincarnation vessel. Gen escaped Isshiki’s genjutsu, overwhelmed him with Senjutsu Chakra, and left him bound by sealing traps.

  • Uchiha Gen chased Cha Uzumaki to the Land of Earth and discovered Jigen, Black Zetsu, and a vast army of White Zetsu.
  • Uchiha Gen recognized Jigen as Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, while Isshiki revealed his plan to implant Karma in Gen and take over his body.
  • Isshiki trapped Uchiha Gen in a genjutsu and attacked him inside a pocket dimension, but Gen saw through the illusion and flooded the space with Senjutsu Chakra.
  • Ōtsutsuki Isshiki fled through a black-hole portal as Senjutsu Chakra began petrifying him, and Uchiha Gen pursued him.
  • Uchiha Gen struck Isshiki with Golden Wheel—Reincarnation Explosion after sealing marks immobilized his ankle.
  • Uchiha Gen surrounded the wounded Isshiki with sealing traps and prepared to continue the attack.

Ch. 144Eating Raw

Uchiha Gen defeated Ōtsutsuki Isshiki by trapping and devouring him in a black-and-white world, then used Limitless Tsukuyomi to absorb the White Zetsu. He explained his origins and power to Black Zetsu, who collapsed after realizing his centuries-long plan had failed.

  • Ōtsutsuki Isshiki appeared through a White Zetsu and demanded that Uchiha Gen become his vessel, while Gen suspected the White Zetsu could serve as Isshiki's extra lives.
  • Uchiha Gen trapped Isshiki in a black-and-white world, immobilized him, and devoured his body until he vanished.
  • Uchiha Gen told Black Zetsu that the world's will regarded outsiders as greedy bandits, and explained how the God Tree processed and stole the world's energy.
  • Uchiha Gen revealed that he came from another universe and used a modified Infinite Tsukuyomi, called Limitless Tsukuyomi, to draw White Zetsu toward himself and absorb them.
  • Black Zetsu collapsed as Uchiha Gen explained that White Zetsu had wills of their own, and Gen considered establishing a path of reincarnation in the Pure Land.

Ch. 145Taking Back the Eyes

Uchiha Gen tracked down Cha Uzumaki and discovered that Cha was the adopted grandson of Uzumaki Shibaki and had been carrying Madara’s Rinnegan. After taking the eyes and restoring Cha’s own, Uchiha Gen decided to occupy the Land of Whirlpools and showed Cha the suffering of its people.

  • Uchiha Gen found Cha Uzumaki mourning his grandfather in a ruined house and seized a gold card meant for him.
  • Cha explained that Uzumaki Shibaki had adopted him and that the people who sent him to the Land of Fire came from the Land of Earth.
  • Uchiha Gen revealed that Cha’s eyes were not his own, and Cha gouged them out and offered them back.
  • Uchiha Gen took Madara’s Rinnegan, restored Cha’s eyes and life force, and announced that he would occupy the Land of Whirlpools.
  • Uchiha Gen carried Cha into the sky and showed him the beggars and poverty below.

Ch. 146Occupying the Land of Whirlpools

Uchiha Gen took control of the Land of Whirlpools and planned reforms, appointing Cha Uzumaki to manage the territory. After a year of work, he returned home to a lively gathering with Mito and Tsunade, where he found the Slug Sage visiting Kuro.

  • Uchiha Gen told Cha Uzumaki that he would manage the future Isle of Whirlpools and promised strict laws and reforms.
  • Uzumaki Mito confronted Uchiha Gen over his occupation of the Land of Whirlpools, then accepted his reward of money and a property deed for Tsunade's sake.
  • Uchiha Gen asked Mito to bring Tsunade and Xiao Guang together, and Mito agreed to visit during the New Year.
  • Uchiha Gen approved Nara Maru's plans for road construction, education, and other reforms across the territory.
  • At year's end, Uchiha Gen returned to find Mito, Tsunade, and others gathered at his villa, where the Slug Sage greeted him as Little Gen.

Ch. 147Resurrecting Big Brother

Uchiha Gen and Izuna reunited with their resurrected eldest brother, Madara, at the former Uchiha clan grounds. Madara regained his Rinnegan and remained determined to try merging with the Ten-Tails.

  • Uchiha Gen told Izuna that Madara could be resurrected and invited him to reunite with their eldest brother.
  • Gen and Izuna visited their old home, including the waterfall and the former Naka Shrine.
  • Gen used Impure World Reincarnation and the Outer Path—Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique to resurrect Madara.
  • Madara accepted his Rinnegan from Gen and explained that Black Zetsu and Ōtsutsuki Isshiki had deceived and defeated him.
  • Gen asked Madara whether merging with the Ten-Tails was still feasible, and Madara said he wanted to try.

Ch. 148Home

Uchiha Gen reunited with Madara and Izuna, showed them the world they now lived in, and explained Kaguya's connection to the Uchiha. Madara explored modern society and arrived at Izuna's villa, where Dahuang greeted him.

  • Uchiha Gen showed Madara a world map and explained that nearly all the land belonged to him, leaving Madara to reconsider his plans.
  • Uchiha Gen released the unconscious Kaguya and told Madara and Izuna that she was Hagoromo's mother and might be their ancestor.
  • Uchiha Gen took Madara and Izuna into the city, where Madara saw a giant screen depicting an imagined battle between the Uchiha and Senju clans.
  • Uchiha Gen used a teleportation passage to bring Madara and Izuna to Izuna's villa, where Dahuang enthusiastically licked Izuna.
  • Madara questioned whether Izuna lived alone and walked into the villa after hearing that Dahuang found food by himself.

Ch. 149Reunion

Uchiha Gen introduced Madara to his family, where Madara bonded with young Hikari, and astonished everyone with a vast display of power at New Year. In Year 27, Gen continued overseeing the world’s development while Madara trained Izuna instead of seeking to fuse with the Ten-Tails again.

  • Madara became engrossed in Uchiha Gen’s criminal code and later praised the food and wine at dinner.
  • Uchiha Gen brought Madara and Izuna to visit Miyue, introduced Madara to the household, and watched him warmly respond to Hikari calling him Great-Granduncle.
  • At New Year, Uchiha Gen used a Rinnegan technique to create a gigantic blazing character for “Fire” across the sky, leaving everyone amazed.
  • In Year 27, Uchiha Gen continued correcting corruption and wrongful convictions as the world developed under his close control.
  • After learning Izuna’s eyes had recovered only to the Three-Tomoe Sharingan, Madara stayed with him and trained him rather than mentioning another Ten-Tails fusion.

Ch. 150Crossing Time and Space

Uchiha Gen investigated a dimensional rift over Rōran and captured a young man who identified himself as Mukade, then recognized him as Anrokuzan from the future. The passage vanished, leaving Gen to suspect that his timeline had branched and obstructed Anrokuzan’s journey through time.

  • Uchiha Gen found a dimensional rift opening over Rōran and ordered the chief administrator to evacuate the gawkers.
  • A young man in an unfamiliar vest fell out of the passage, and Uchiha Gen restrained him before the passage collapsed.
  • Uchiha Gen took the sleeping stranger to the Pentagon, where the man later said his name was Mukade and that he came from year forty-four.
  • Uchiha Gen read Mukade’s memories and identified him as Anrokuzan, then told him to live according to the present era.
  • Uchiha Gen considered how Anrokuzan had crossed time without the Dragon Vein and concluded that his timeline might have become a separate branch.
