Transmigration

Lu Ziyuan was an overworked corporate employee from the 2030s who collapsed after drinking heavily. He awakened in the Warring States Era in the body of Uchiha Yuan, Tajima's third son and the younger brother of Madara and Izuna. The original Yuan had barely survived Senju Tobirama's Water Dragon Bullet, allowing Lu Ziyuan's unfamiliar behavior to be dismissed as trauma and memory loss 2 3.

Initially terrified by the era's brutality and by the possibility that he was an unrecorded casualty in known history, Yuan began preparing for survival. His merged memories, unusual soul power, exceptional memory, and ability to multitask became the foundation of his training 3 6.

Kaguya Raid

While Madara and Izuna were absent, the Kaguya Clan raided the weakened Uchiha compound. Yuan fought through the invasion to reach the wounded, evolving from two-tomoe to three-tomoe Sharingan while sustaining severe injuries 9 10.

When the surviving Uchiha faced annihilation, Yuan returned to the battlefield, awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan, and used an incomplete Susanoo, clones, and Rasengan to repel the Kaguya. He continued fighting despite having only minutes to live, shielding the shrine and its civilians before collapsing with a partially carbonized body 11 12.

Seeking a path beyond ordinary Uchiha limits, Yuan constructed a hidden laboratory near the Land of Wind and began researching bloodlines, cellular enhancement, sealing arts, and forbidden techniques 28 35.

He detained five people from notable bloodline clans—Uzumaki Shibaki, Yuki Kiyoshi, Tenbin Heiyan, Hoshigaki Kuroto, and Sabaku Meigetsu—as prospective research subjects. Although he fed, housed, and trained them, he restricted their freedom and used captured bandits and outlaws for lethal experiments 32 35 38.

His loyalty is personal rather than institutional. He openly states that Madara and Izuna matter more to him than the Uchiha Clan as an abstract institution, though his actions repeatedly protect the clan and improve its prosperity 33.

Yuan is capable of genuine care: he protects Uchiha civilians, saves Haru from organ failure, takes responsibility for blind Uchiha children, and personally buries plague victims 12 28 70 142. At the same time, his fear of powerlessness erodes his moral limits.
