"Finally got it done..." Peter stretched hard, his bones cracking in a series of crisp pops.
Gwen rubbed her slightly sore eyes as well. "But the results were worth it. This design looks fantastic."
Lin Hai looked at the detailed blueprints on the computer and nodded. "The foundation has been laid. Now it all comes down to the actual implementation."
Harry carefully put away the encrypted hard drive containing the design data, his face unable to hide his excitement and anticipation. "Don't worry. With such a clear direction and these precious materials, I'm confident I can build a brand-new Nova Armor!"
Outside the window, New York's night sky was already strewn with stars. It really was getting late.
"Alright, everyone." Lin Hai clapped his hands. "That's enough brainstorming for today. Rome wasn't built in a day, and armor can't be upgraded overnight. You should all head home and get some rest."
So Peter put the scattered tools back in their places, Gwen cleaned the bone dust and metal scraps off the workbench, while Lin Hai and Harry inventoried the precious extradimensional materials again, sealed them up, and placed them in a specially made safe.
After saying goodbye to Harry, Lin Hai and the other two left the still brightly lit Osborn Tower and returned home separately.
Over the next few days, Harry's private laboratory became the four-person team's regular base. Although their main goal was to help Harry upgrade and modify the Nova Armor, everyone gained something from the process.
As Peter took part in high-intensity applied materials science and precision mechanical structure design, countless sparks of inspiration burst forth.
Whenever he assisted Harry with stress simulations for a component, he would often stare blankly at the shifting data on the screen. Then he would suddenly pull out the notebook
