Background & History

Harry transfers to Midtown High from a Swiss boarding school as the wealthy, polished son of Norman Osborn. Despite his detached high-society manner, he is lonely and openly hopes to make friends. He quickly connects with Lin Hai and Peter Parker by sharing confidential Osborn Enterprises journals on genetic engineering and inviting them to his home laboratory. 8 9

His early friendship with Mary Jane Watson exposes his emotional vulnerability. During a Truth or Dare game, Harry reveals Peter's crush on Mary Jane out of jealousy, then admits that he sometimes feels driven to do things he knows are wrong.
