With their objective clear, the six people in the law office began seriously discussing how to deal with the trouble known as The Hand.

Although Lin Hai had a broad understanding of The Hand based on memories from before his transmigration, he did not know how much their actual details differed from what he knew.

So he looked at Matt, who was seated across from him. "Matt, since you've been tangled up with The Hand for quite a while, you must have learned something about them.

"We need more specific, basic intelligence to help us understand this enemy—their bases, numbers, patterns of activity, and so on."

Naturally, Matt held nothing back. After organizing his thoughts, he began laying out everything he knew. "First, one thing is certain: The Hand had already established a base in New York and operated there for some time before they began hunting Elektra."

Matt's voice was low and clear. "Of course, given their scale and methods, they likely have other secret bases elsewhere in New York that I don't know about. But that's beyond what I've been able to reach."

He raised a hand and pointed south. "Their Hell's Kitchen base is at the southernmost end of Hell's Kitchen. That area is even more chaotic and rundown than this place, practically half-abandoned, with very few ordinary residents. The Hand calls it 'Shadowland.' They use the overall chaos of Hell's Kitchen to cover their activities."

"Shadowland..." Lin Hai quietly repeated the name. It truly was fertile ground for shadows to breed.
