First came mobility.
When Lin Hai had created this Wood Dragon, he had already foreseen that, with his current abilities, there was no way it could fly through the sky like a real Azure Dragon.
But people were often like that. Even when they understood things rationally, before they tried for themselves and saw the final result with their own eyes, they would always harbor unrealistic fantasies and expectations deep down.
Lin Hai was no exception.
He issued several commands with the same meaning to the Wood Dragon coiled around him: Rise! Fly! Take off!
However, the Wood Dragon remained firmly coiled on the ground, showing not the slightest sign of moving. Its lifelike dragon head, like that of Ta Lo's Azure Dragon, tilted slightly, and its glowing wooden eyes "looked" toward Lin Hai as though silently expressing its confusion.
Hamil, Gwen, Peter, and Harry, who were observing from outside the field, could not help but feel puzzled when they saw Lin Hai and the Wood Dragon fall into a strange standstill.
Peter nudged Harry beside him with his elbow. "Hey, Harry, what's Lin doing? Staring down his wooden dragon? Don't tell me something went wrong?"
Harry shook his head. "It doesn't look like anything went wrong. Maybe... they're communicating somehow?"
Just as Peter and Harry were debating whether to go over and ask Lin Hai if everything was all right, the Wood Dragon in the field finally moved.
After trying several times without getting any response from the Wood Dragon, Lin Hai finally gave up on his unrealistic fantasy completely.
Sure enough, it doesn't work... Lin Hai shook his head, but he did not care too much about something he had expected all along.
