Lin Hai watched the scene before him and couldn't help grumbling inwardly: An introduction is just an introduction. Why list so many degrees? The two of you have five doctorates between you. Sorry for standing beside you as a mere biology undergraduate.
Grumble as he might, Lin Hai still invited Connors to sit on the living room sofa first. Then he turned to Tony, pointed at Connors, who had just sat down, and then toward the upstairs where Matt and Elektra were changing into their uniforms.
"The people I invited are the three of them."
Tony frowned slightly when Lin Hai said there were only three people. "Didn't you say you learned your magic? Can't some people from over there come help?"
Lin Hai shook his head. "Their mission is mainly to protect Earth and deal with incidents affecting a broader range of humanity. Maybe they'll reveal themselves to the public as various events unfold in the future, but now isn't the time."
Tony wasn't surprised by Lin Hai's answer. "Yeah, that fits my usual impression of secret organizations. Fine, then. Besides, I wasn't originally planning to call in outside help. If I hadn't remembered I knew a guy like you, I'd probably still be flying toward New York right now."
Just then, footsteps sounded from the stairs.
Gwen walked in front, followed by Matt and Elektra. They had already changed into their respective uniforms. Matt wore that dark red Daredevil suit, though he hadn't put on his mask yet. Elektra wore a red-and-black skintight combat suit, also without her mask.
Then Peter and Harry came up from the basement one after the other. Peter wore his red-and-blue Spider-Suit without the mask, while Harry wore his blue-and-silver Nova Armor, likewise without a helmet.
