Not far away, Sif, Fandral, Volstagg, Hogun, Peter, Harry, and Gwen watched Lin Hai battle the Destroyer and joined the fight in their own ways.
Sif charged in while the Destroyer was entangled by the Wood Dragon. Having lost her weapon, she repeatedly smashed her shield against the Destroyer's body.
Fandral approached the Destroyer from the other side, looking for openings to thrust his rapier into the gaps in its body.
Volstagg charged at the Destroyer head-on, his battle axe striking its shin but doing little damage. The Destroyer looked down at him and kicked him away. But he quickly climbed back to his feet, cursing as he charged in again.
Hogun circled behind the Destroyer and smashed its shin with his war hammer. Though he likewise could not break through its defenses, the force of repeated blows still disrupted the Destroyer's movements.
Peter swung from above, constantly using Silk to interfere with the Destroyer. Occasionally, he shot it at his teammates as well, helping them use it for leverage to evade the Destroyer's attacks.
Harry began using guerrilla tactics, striking once and then retreating. In this way, he left several wounds on the Destroyer with Sif's spear. He was faster than Sif and the other three, and the Destroyer failed to hit him despite trying several times.
Gwen stood at a distance as golden light continuously flew from her hands. Some landed on her teammates, while others struck the Destroyer, aiding her allies while interfering with and weakening the Destroyer.
The eight of them surrounded the Destroyer and attacked. More and more wounds appeared on its body, but it still did not fall. It began constantly using its shapeshifting ability, sometimes growing larger and sometimes shrinking, causing their attacks to miss again and again.
