After escorting Loki, bound up like a caterpillar, aboard the Quinjet, the cabin fell quiet for a moment.

Steve sat in a seat against the cabin wall, his shield propped beside his legs, his gaze never leaving the god wrapped tightly in Silk.

Loki, on the other hand, remained perfectly composed. Lying on the floor in the middle of the cabin, he used the only part of him left exposed—his head—to look around the interior.

After all, his original plan had been to find a chance to infiltrate S.H.I.E.L.D. Otherwise, even if he was not especially powerful, Peter and the other two would never have captured Loki so easily without Lin Hai stepping in.

The communication was then cut off.

As Natasha turned off the channel, Tony's gaze naturally drifted toward Lin Hai. He had originally wanted to see what that guy was up to again, but the moment his eyes shifted over, he froze.

Peter was leaning against the seat beside Lin Hai, dressed in casual clothes and holding a bag of small cookies he had pulled from who knew which pocket.

Just as he stuffed a cookie into his mouth, he noticed Tony staring fixedly at him.

Tony's eyes were full of questions.

Right before boarding, Tony had personally watched Peter, clad in that metallic red-and-blue Spider-Suit with golden web patterns, carry Loki—bound into a caterpillar by Silk—onto the plane one-handed like a piece of luggage.

Yet now, he discovered that Peter had already changed into casual clothes.
