Thor regained his power and defeated the Destroyer with help from Lin Hai and the others. While Thor returned to his companions, Lin Hai secretly took the Destroyer through a Portal.

• Thor caught Mjolnir, healed beneath a pillar of lightning, and reappeared in his armor.
• Loki fired the Destroyer's beam at Thor, but Mjolnir deflected it as Lin Hai, Volstagg, Hogun, Peter, and Harry helped knock the Destroyer down.
• Thor summoned a massive tornado and destroyed the Destroyer by diving through its beams with Mjolnir.
• Lin Hai used the Wood Dragon to shield his actions, then opened a Portal and secretly removed the Destroyer piece by piece.

Thor left with Jane to show her the Bifrost, while Sif was left heartbroken and Loki brought Laufey and the Frost Giants into Asgard. Heimdall broke free from the Casket of Ancient Winters and activated the Bifrost toward Earth.

• Thor carried Jane into the sky, and Sif watched them leave in pain while Fandral, Volstagg, and Hogun avoided her gaze.
• Loki freed Gungnir, brought Laufey and the Frost Giants across the Bifrost, and left Heimdall frozen with the Casket of Ancient Winters.

Thor said goodbye to Jane and returned to Asgard with Sif and the Warriors Three, leaving Jane behind on Earth. On the Bifrost, he found Heimdall unconscious and flew alone to confront Loki at the palace.

After discovering that the enlarged Destroyer Armor contained enough Uru Metal for all four of them, Lin Hai, Gwen, Peter, and Harry planned their protective gear. They settled on designs for Peter and Harry, while Lin Hai and Gwen described what they wanted for theirs.
