"Sir, this woman is indeed an exception, because even she herself didn't know she was an Inhuman," Coulson said with a nod.

"She didn't even know she was an Inhuman? What do you mean?"

"It means she only recently discovered that her abilities had awakened. That 3.3-magnitude earthquake the other day was accidentally caused by her."

"How is that possible! Inhumans must undergo Terrigen Mist induction to awaken their abilities.

"If she isn't part of the Inhuman community, then she couldn't possibly have come into contact with a Terrigen Crystal. So how were her abilities activated?"

Nick Fury's face was filled with confusion. In truth, he had come into contact with the Inhumans back when he was young, and he knew quite a bit about them.

As far as he knew, the Inhumans were products of Kree experiments. Back when the Kree went to war with the Skrulls, the Kree wanted to create a batch of war machines.

So they came to Earth, captured a group of humans as test subjects, and performed inhumane biological experiments on them, ultimately creating the special group known as the Inhumans.

Later, when the war took a turn, the Kree had no time to spare for these test subjects they had created, so they abandoned them on Earth to fend for themselves.
