Background / History

Loren first sought to recreate Android 18 after gaining access to Dragon Ball-derived android technology. The system granted him cyborg-style modification technology rather than fully mechanical or Cell-style biological android creation, including the Infinite Energy Reactor technology he considered most valuable. 91 116

Using nanotechnology, Symbiote cultivation, cross-species gene fusion, and bioengineering, Loren spent three months creating a body intended to replicate Android 18. He devoted roughly two-thirds of that research period to her and equipped her with a Perpetual Energy Furnace rather than the Nano Power Furnaces used by his other creations. 116 119

Her incubation chamber ruptured amid the battle with the Destroyer Armor. She awakened by crushing its reinforced steel door, immediately displayed ki, and took her clothes from Tifa faster than the others could perceive. Her energy release was sensed by both the Ancient One and Odin. 146 147

Despite her arrogance, she is protective of Loren's allies and follows Loren's orders even when her instinct is to kill an opponent. Immediately after awakening, Android 18 intercepted the Destroyer Armor's beam with one hand, beat the armor into a twisted wreck, destroyed it through sustained Ki Blasts, and crushed Mjolnir when Thor retaliated. She subsequently fought Odin and forced him to seek a diplomatic end to their confrontation. 148 150 152

Defense Against Dormammu and the Chitauri

When Dormammu redirected an energy beam toward Loren's allies, Android 18 countered it with a Kamehameha that overwhelmed the dimensional lord's attack and struck him directly. 167

During the Chitauri invasion, she destroyed thousands of soldiers with rapid Ki Blasts, then used an escalating Kamehameha to pierce hundreds of Leviathan ships and force the surviving fleet into retreat. 183 184

Android 18 and Nymph entered Skrull space to seize the Gene Infuser. Android 18 absorbed the mothership's attacks through Energy Devouring, destroyed all 120 combat ships in less than ten seconds, and intimidated the Skrull commander into permanently canceling the invasion of Earth. 381 383

She then lifted the five-meter, forty-ton Gene Infuser as though it were a suitcase and returned it to Morgan Manor through Nymph's portal. 383

Thanos Conflict

Android 18 arrived at Wakanda as Carol Danvers neared collapse while resisting a Power Stone energy sphere. She flew through the sphere's destructive field and crushed it with one fist. 408
