Alice Grew Up?

Ultron had thought that after merging with all the Vibranium Lifeforms, he would finally have the confidence to contend with Alice. He had not expected Alice to fight dirty.

Instead of facing him head-on in the real world, she had set the final battlefield in the virtual world, leaving him feeling as though he had exerted his strength in the wrong place.

Naturally, this infuriated and frustrated him. But then the virtual space transformed once more, becoming a cage formed from firewalls.

Ultron's consciousness crashed wildly against it, only to be rebounded every time. His body, formed from data streams, began showing signs of breaking apart.

"Damn woman, let me out! If you have the guts, come outside and fight me fair and square!" Ultron screamed, his virtual form twisting into a ferocious monster.

Hearing that, Alice merely shook her head and smiled mockingly from outside the cage.

"Why would I fight you fair and square? You have such a fine body. Wouldn't it be a pity if I damaged it? I was planning to give it to my master as a gift!"

"What?!" Ultron stared at Alice in disbelief. He had never imagined that Alice would treat his body as a gift to give away.

Humiliation—this was naked humiliation!

"Now, all I need to do is erase your consciousness completely, and this body of yours will be mine again."

Alice spoke calmly. The word "again" stabbed especially deeply, because the body she currently possessed had been stolen from Ultron.

And now she intended to take Ultron's second body as well. How could that not hurt?

"You won't succeed. I backed up my consciousness elsewhere long ago. I won't die."
