Her body fell from the air, plummeting toward the "ground" below. There was no real ground in Chaos Space.
But Wanda had created a semi-transparent red platform condensed from Chaos Magic at the bottom of the space, giving them somewhere to stand.
The Fusion Entity's body crashed onto the platform, bounced once, then stopped moving.
Her silver-white hair spread across the red platform like a silver river washed ashore.
Her deep blue eyes remained open, staring at the ceiling of Chaos Space, at those constantly swirling red energy clouds.
The Judge descended from the air and landed on the platform.
Its feet stepped onto the red platform, leaving dark red footprints behind.
It walked to the Fusion Entity's side, lowered its head, and looked down at her with white eyes.
"Offer up your core! It has been so long since I tasted the core of a strong being like you. How delightful!"
The Fusion Entity said nothing. She stared expressionlessly at the Judge before her.
The light in her eyes slowly dimmed, like an oil lamp about to burn out.
The Judge crouched down and stretched out its right hand, fingers spread wide and aimed at the Fusion Entity's chest.
Dark red energy gathered in its palm, forming a rotating energy drill that glowed white.
Then, the energy drill plunged directly toward the Fusion Entity's heart.
Yet it stopped less than a centimeter from her chest.
It had not stopped on its own. Someone had caught it.
A silver-white hand, slender and with clearly defined knuckles, reached out from the void and seized the Judge's wrist.
The hand was not large, but the Judge's arm seemed welded in place, unable to move in the slightest.
The Judge's white eyes shifted away from the Fusion Entity and followed that hand upward.
