The entire manor shook violently. Dense cracks spread across its spatial barrier.
A tall figure clad in crimson stepped out of the passage. Every rune on his scarlet armor burned, and solid spacetime crystals formed beneath each step.
Dozens of blood-red spacetime swords floated around the Scarlet Centurion. Crimson light shot from his eyes into the courtyard, and the pressure he radiated was dozens of times greater than that of the two ordinary Kang Variants.
He made no move to attack. Instead, he looked down at everyone in the courtyard, his cold voice carrying the arrogance of a conqueror of the Multiverse.
"I must admit, you have some skill. Killing two of my generals so quickly has earned you the right to die by my hand."
"I was too arrogant before. I underestimated you variables who strayed from the main timeline.

As his words fell, the Scarlet Centurion thrust one hand downward.

Unlike the crude temporal restraints of ordinary Kang Variants, his time stop had no flaws. It severed the entire area from every outside timeline, cutting the courtyard off completely from the flow of real time.
The air froze. Falling leaves, stirring breezes, even the paths of flowing energy stood perfectly still. Only the Scarlet Centurion could move freely.
Even those who had easily resisted the lesser Time Stop felt their bodies grow heavy, the energy within them suddenly sluggish.
