Before long, Loren returned to the manor.

"Boss, that woman woke up. She's going crazy in there, insisting on seeing you. Nothing we said worked."

Seeing Loren return, Tifa hurried over and told him about Viper's situation.

Loren frowned at her words.

It had only been a short while, yet Viper was already demanding to see him, and acting as if she absolutely had to. That was highly abnormal.

He did not believe Viper had been conquered by him so easily, then willingly thrown herself at him and decided she could not live without him.

That woman had not even feared death before. How could she surrender so easily?

Something was clearly wrong. This matter was probably not so simple!

"I understand. All of you, leave. Without my permission, no one is allowed inside."

Loren walked to the door of the room where Viper was being held and calmly gave his orders.

"Yes!" Upon hearing Loren's command, Tifa and 2B nodded and kept their distance.

Loren pushed open the door and walked straight inside.

Inside the room, Viper was tightly bound to an iron chair, though he had no idea who had tied her up.

The technique was exceptionally artistic. One look was enough to tell that whoever had done it knew a thing or two about bondage.

Because Tifa and 2B had found Viper too noisy, they had gagged her.

The moment Viper saw him enter, she immediately began muffled cries, looking extremely anxious.

Loren stepped forward and ripped the tape from her mouth.

"Let me go back quickly. There's no time. If I don't return to the base before midnight tonight, I'm finished."
