Background / History

Kingpin controlled a criminal organization with influence across New York and America. His physical strength, intelligence, and elite martial-arts ability helped establish him as an underworld emperor, while Tombstone, Scorpion, and Prowler served as his foremost enforcers. 7 9

Through Tombstone, Kingpin's organization became involved in the assassination of the Morgan Family head. When 2B killed the surviving gunman Will and destroyed a Mexican drug factory, Kingpin realized that Loren Morgan had likely uncovered his connection to the crime. He ordered Tombstone to proceed with a raid on Morgan Manor and assassinate Loren. 6 7

Kingpin was also allied with an unidentified woman who had supplied him with intelligence and Truncated Enhancement Serum. As his operation unraveled, she considered him an expendable pawn and secretly ordered his assassination. 8
