Blinding arcs burst from the main power interface, instantly burning out several control panels. Amid the showering sparks and the acrid stench of scorched wiring, a mass of violent current condensed into the inhuman outline of Black Spirit.
His humanoid body was incomplete, and his figure was exceptionally faint. Clearly, Miles's earlier attack had dealt him severe damage that would be difficult to recover from in the short term.
Even so, he had still taken the risk of coming here, because he knew this was his only chance.

Black Spirit looked around, sensing the surging electricity flowing through the massive building, and a satisfied smile appeared on his face.
Inside the control room, dozens of top researchers went completely blank-minded. Before they could even let out a proper scream, an invisible will seized control of their thoughts. They froze in place, the light in their pupils rapidly fading as though they were puppets with their strings cut.
But at the same time, an equally pure and powerful will crossed dozens of kilometers and descended with force!
