At the top of Osborn Building, late at night, high above the ground.
Whoosh!
A strand of web shot through the air and stuck precisely to the tip of the tower.
Peter Parker descended after it, his limbs clinging tightly to the cold glass curtain wall, his movements so light they were nearly imperceptible.
He held his breath and peered through the glass, carefully observing the scene inside.
The room was brightly lit. Harry Osborn sat alone on the sofa, looking down at some documents with a focused expression.
Everything seemed normal.
But Spider-Man did not dare let down his guard. Miles's solemn warning flashed through his mind, and he knew perfectly well that he could not possibly defeat the monster called Black Spirit.
However, this involved Harry, his best friend. He simply could not stand by and do nothing.
So he came anyway.
Spider-Man watched from outside the wall for more than ten minutes. Only after repeatedly confirming that there was no one else in the room did he carefully take out his phone and try calling Miles, but the call would not go through at all.
Spider-Man had already called Miles several times while rushing here earlier, but the result had been the same every time.
Clearly, Miles seemed to be preparing for something else.
"No choice..."
Spider-Man muttered to himself and carefully dialed Harry's number.
At the same time, Harry inside the room took out his phone and answered it.
"Hello, Peter. What is it this time?" Harry asked over the phone.
Seeing Harry actually speaking in the room and confirming that it was really him, Spider-Man instinctively let out a breath of relief.
"Thank God, you're okay..."
Peter hurriedly continued, "Harry, listen to me. There's someone terrifying near you. Leave Osborn Building as soon as possible..."
