It's 4:30 in the morning, in the suburbs of London. It's so cold that it can freeze your bones.

Chu Hang wrapped his military coat tightly and greeted Colonel Phillips ten thousand times in his heart. At this point again, these old antiques don't understand what sleep is.

At the end of the runway, the C-47 transport plane made a dull roar. The dim light illuminated the people at Howling Commandos, who stood there like stones.

The atmosphere was very depressing. There was no farewell, only the cold wind.

Chu Hang curled his lips and glanced at these temporary teammates.

At the front are Steve·Rogers, and the future Captain America. He is carefully checking the buckle of the shield. His face is sharp and angular, and his eyes only have mission.

What a single-minded idealist. Chu Hang thought to himself.

Not far away, a grumpy man was sitting on an ammunition box, using Bone Claws to polish another Bone Claws.

Logan.

The harsh friction sound makes one's teeth ache.

Chu Hang's eyes stayed on his hand for a second longer. Fortunately, the one copied at that time was Healing Factor.

It was this ability that allowed him to survive in this hellish place.

As for the others, the explosives expert Dugan and the United Kingdom gentleman Falsworth, in his view, they are all backgrounds that provide firepower.

He put his hand into his pocket and touched the M1911 pistol at his waist.

Under the barrel, there is a palm-sized silver metal box hanging, with lines drawn by Howard·Stark engraved on it, and a blue crystal in the center.

"Portable energy condenser." Stark named it.

"A waste." Stark's final evaluation of it.

According to him, the only use of this thing is to absorb energy for a thousandth of a second when exposed to high-energy reactions, and then be scrapped.

Waste? Chu Hang sneered in his heart. Howard's brain is fifty years ahead of the times. Unfortunately, he still doesn't understand the nature of certain powers.

He knows better than anyone that this "trash" is his trump card for this operation.

He could feel the Cosmic Cube Energy in his body, like an unstable fire. Ever since he touched that thing last time, his body had become a bomb that could explode at any time.

And the "waste" Howard is the fuse he prepared.

It is also a detonator.

"Time's up! Board the plane!"

Colonel Phillips's roar broke the silence.

The Howling Commandos team members turned around and walked into the dark cabin of the C-47.

Chu Hang followed the team. A big hand patted him heavily on the shoulder.

"Boy." Colonel Phillips stared at him, with complicated emotions in his one eye, and his voice was very low, "Bring them all back alive."

Chu Hang was stunned for a moment. He knew that there was the colonel's nephew in this team, and there were elites he selected. This was a very important request.

He nodded, said nothing, turned around and walked into the cabin.

The cabin door slowly closed.

The red emergency lights came on, and everyone's face seemed to be covered with blood. The plane taxied, accelerated, and then suddenly took off into the night.

Two hours later, the plane arrived over Alps.

The C-47 was flying almost close to the ridge. Outside the window, there were knife-like peaks and bottomless cliffs.

The intermittent voice of Howard·Stark came from the radio.

"Steve! Listen! My scanner shows that there is a dead end thirty kilometers ahead of you! There is nothing! Listen to me, turn around now, I invite you to the best bar!"

Steve ignored him, walked straight to the cabin door, and opened the door.

Phew--!

The cold wind of dozens of degrees below zero blew in, and the ice shards hit my face like knives.

Chu Hang squinted and looked down.

Below is a bottomless rift valley with almost vertical cliffs on both sides. In the center of the canyon, a glacier rolls.

The most shocking thing is the end of the canyon.

A giant glacier waterfall hundreds of meters wide fell from the sky. Countless ice cubes and melted water crashed into the deep pool. The roar penetrated the cabin and made people's eardrums hurt.

"Ready for action!"

Steve roared and was the first to fasten the hook rope on the track in the cabin.

Their plan is crazy.

It's not skydiving, but rappelling from a plane to the bottom of a canyon hundreds of meters deep.

"Chu! You are the first!" Steve turned to look at Chu Hang.

"Why me again?" Chu Hang protested.

"Your judgment is needed." Steve's reason was simple, "Go down and explore the road."

OK.

Chu Hang didn't waste any more nonsense. With the help of several team members, he was hung outside the cabin. He looked down and saw Abyss. The strong wind shook him from side to side.

"Let it go!"

Steve gave the order and the noose turned rapidly.

Whoosh--!

Chu Hang's body instantly lost weight and fell straight towards the darkness.

The feeling of weightlessness squeezed his internal organs. The wind screamed in his ears. He tried hard to control his body and turned the enhanced perception to the maximum.

Everything around him slowed down in his mind.

When we descended halfway into the canyon, I suddenly felt a stabbing pain in my head.

Danger!

He yelled at the communicator in his throat with all his strength, "Left! Pay attention to the left! There is something wrong with that protruding black stone!"

The words just fell.

The Black Noir rock cracked silently, and a muzzle flashed with blue light.

Buzz--!

A blue energy beam thicker than a thigh tore through the air and blasted towards Chu Hang in mid-air.

"Be careful!" the team members exclaimed from the communicator.

Too fast! There was no time to react.

At this moment, a red and blue figure jumped out of the cabin.

It's Steve.

Clang--!

A loud bang resounded through the canyon. Vibranium Shield stood firmly in front of Chu Hang.

The energy beam hit Star Shield firmly.

The terrifying energy was absorbed by the shield, and then spread out, forming a blue halo. Wherever the halo swept, the rock wall was burned red.

Steve was hit by the huge impact and rolled in the air, but he still stabilized his body and held the shield tightly with his arms.

"Kill it!" he roared at the plane.

"Roger it!"

On the plane, Falsworth picked up an energy interference gun, locked the turret, and pulled the trigger.

An invisible ripple hit the fort.

The blue light of the fort quickly dimmed, a puff of black smoke came out, and it retracted into the rock.

"Are you okay?" Stephen walked to Chu Hang, his tone still a little scared.

"It's okay, captain." Chu Hang took a breath, "Fortunately, you reacted quickly."

"It was your intuition that saved us." Steve looked at him, the trust in his eyes deepened, "Continue to descend! Everyone, cheer up!"

With this experience and subsequent drops, Chu Hang became everyone's eyes.

"Fifty meters below, there is something under the ice on the right." His voice rang on the channel.

Logan swung over, and Bone Claws made a stroke on the ice. Under the ice, a red sensor light flashed past. It was a pressure mine.

"Continue to descend twenty meters, and there are three thin lines ahead."

Dugan stopped and took out a thermal imaging telescope to take a look. Three almost invisible laser trip wires lay across the path of their descent.

"Fake!" Dugan cursed in a low voice.

Thanks to Chu Hang's precise warnings time and time again, the team escaped all traps without any danger.

A few minutes later, everyone landed on the glacier bank at the bottom of the canyon.

Overhead, the C-47 circled in a circle and disappeared deep into the clouds.

There is no way out.

"Howard, can you hear me?" Steve asked into the communicator.

"Yes! God, you actually went down!" Howard's voice was full of disbelief, "You crazy people! I saw you dodge at least twelve energy turrets! This is unscientific! How can that boy Chu's judgment be so accurate?!"

"Where is the entrance?" Steve interrupted him.

"I don't know!" Howard was going crazy. "I told you, there is no signal here! Unless... unless Hydra built the base hundreds of meters underground and used some black technology to block everything!"

Steve frowned and looked at Chu Hang subconsciously.

Everyone's eyes were once again focused on Chu Hang.

Chu Hang said nothing.

He resisted the pressure and walked to the huge glacier waterfall.

The loud rumbling sound almost tore the eardrums, and the cold water vapor rushed towards my face.

He reached out and touched the seemingly indestructible ice wall.

Biting coldness came from the fingertips.

But in his perception, this was not ice at all.

It's a holographic projection.

Behind it is an absurdly thick alloy door. Defense level? It cannot be destroyed.

Higher dimensional energy is needed...

Chu Hang took a deep breath and touched the "waste" condenser under the gun on his waist.

He turned around, looked at the shivering teammates behind him, and spoke calmly:

"Gentlemen, don't believe your eyes."

He stretched out his finger and pointed at the huge glacier waterfall in front of him, and the corners of his mouth curved.

"Welcome to Hydra's lair."

"This whole waterfall... is their gate."
