The team reached Hydra’s factory and began infiltrating it to rescue the captured soldiers and destroy the facility.

• Chu Hang copied Logan’s Healing Factor on the battlefield, then joined him in fighting German forces until Dugan recruited them for the Howling Commandos.
• After the team’s plane was shot down near Hydra’s factory, Chu Hang landed apart from the others, fought Hydra patrols, and found an Energy Block.

After breaking through Hydra’s encirclement, the Commandos spent months sabotaging operations and rescuing prisoners before taking on Red Skull’s Valkyrie bomber.

• Steve Rogers and Chu Hang infiltrated the factory’s power room, then discovered a gigantic creature in a hidden laboratory and escaped as it broke free.
• Chu Hang, Steve, and Logan lured the creature into attacking the mountain, then disabled its exposed energy core and destroyed it.
• Chu Hang found a sphere containing degraded Cosmic Cube energy, while the SSR noticed an unusual energy fluctuation when he touched it.
• Hydra’s Mechanical Spiders attacked the prisoners, and Chu Hang helped defeat their Spider King before the base’s self-destruct began.

Chu Hang survived his transformation and built a new life while searching for power, then reunited with Carol Danvers and helped her reclaim her memories and abilities. After learning the Kree had deceived Carol and destroyed the Skrull homeworld, the group prepared to find Doctor Lawson’s laboratory.

• Chu Hang reached Project Pegasus in 1995, copied Carol Danvers’s Binary power during the Lightspeed Engine explosion, and escaped S.H.I.E.L.D. after the fusion left his system dormant.
• Chu Hang forged the identity Anthony Chen, built wealth through gambling and investments, and spent years collecting abilities before sensing Carol’s return to the Project Pegasus ruins in 2001.
• Chu Hang helped Carol recover her memories of Maria and Monica, then drove away S.H.I.E.L.D. agents who came to question them.
• Chu Hang defended Maria’s home from Yon-Rogg and the Kree, interrogated Yon-Rogg, and deceived the Kree into believing Carol was returning to Hala.

Chu Hang used his growing powers and influence to confront Kree and Earthly threats, guide Tony Stark, and intervene in Thor’s return to Asgard. The arc ended with Steve Rogers awakened in the 21st century and Loki stealing the Cosmic Cube, setting the Avengers Initiative in motion.

• Chu Hang helped Carol and Talos find Mar-Vell’s hidden station, rescued the Skrull refugees from Ronan’s attack, and defeated Ronan before agreeing to work with S.H.I.E.L.D.
• Chu Hang rescued Tony Stark from Afghanistan, acquired a major stake in Stark Industries, and helped Tony develop a new element and improve his armor.
• Chu Hang stopped Abomination, warned Tony about Ivan Vanko, and helped thwart Vanko and Justin Hammer’s plans at the Stark Expo.
