Darkness.
Endless darkness.
Chu Hang felt his body being torn apart. Every cell screamed.
Inside the spatial rift, there was no concept of time, no direction, only chaotic torrents of energy washing over him.
He tried to steady his consciousness.
The six powers of law within him shook violently, clashing with one another and nearly bursting his body apart.
He had no idea how much time passed.
It could have been a second, or ten thousand years.
A blinding white light suddenly appeared.
Chu Hang was hurled out.
Boom!
He smashed through three buildings before crashing into the pavement, leaving a deep crater ten meters across.
The dust cleared.
Chu Hang lay at the bottom of the crater, gasping for breath.
Cracks covered his body. Blood seeped from his wounds and pooled on the ground.
But he was still alive.
His Healing Factor worked slowly, the Super-Soldier Serum repaired the damage, and his god physique reconstructed his cells.
But the process was frighteningly slow.
Chu Hang frowned.
Something was wrong.
He tried to draw on the powers of law within him.
He could barely use the law of space, and it had only thirty percent of its original power.
The law of force fared even worse. He could hardly sense it.
The law of time, Reality Warp, mental law, and law of death all seemed separated from him by an invisible membrane, making them exceedingly difficult to use.
"The laws of the universe here... are different."
Chu Hang struggled into a sitting position and looked around.
This was a bustling metropolis.
Towering buildings lined the streets, traffic streamed past, and pedestrians wore modern clothing and spoke English.
But the details were wrong.
The architecture looked more futuristic. Floating billboards dotted the streets, and aircraft streaked across the distant sky.
