Bibi Dong is the Pope of Spirit Hall and the successor of the Rakshasa God. While undergoing the Rakshasa God Trials, she identifies Lan Yu as a potentially rival divine inheritor and orders Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo to assassinate him. She regards the two Title Douluo as expendable tools, treating their possible deaths as an acceptable outcome of the mission 39.

The ambush fails disastrously. After the elders return severely injured, Bibi Dong berates them as worthless and becomes more determined to eliminate Lan Yu despite their warning that he may possess divine backing 40.

Lan Yu confronts her directly in the Pope Palace. Bibi Dong attempts to intimidate him with killing intent, Title Douluo pressure, and the Death God Domain, but Qian Daoliu intervenes before the confrontation becomes a battle. Pope Palace Confrontation

Lan Yu enters the Pope Palace to demand accountability for the assassination attempt. Bibi Dong refuses to answer his questions, attempts to suppress him through force, and is compelled by Qian Daoliu to apologize and provide compensation 40 41.
