Judging by the way the Red Demon Mastiff had fled in a panic, he guessed the guardian of the Junior Spirit Ascension Platform had been driven off by the Black Qi's owner.

Pulling his thoughts back, Tang Li set off again. This time, instead of seeking the strongest Soul Beast to locate the barrier, he followed the Red Demon Mastiff's lingering scent back toward the section it had guarded.
