Arc 9The Crown’s Conquests

Joffrey crushed Renly’s rebellion, brought the Reach and Stormlands under royal control, and sent Jon Snow to secure the remaining strongholds. As the Royal Fleet defeated Euron’s attack on the Shield Islands and captured the Silence, Euron stayed underwater with the Sea Monster, waiting for a chance to strike.

  • Olenna agreed to supply Joffrey with money, grain, and soldiers, and Joffrey healed Willas Tyrell’s leg before assigning Willas and Garlan commands in the Crown’s service.
  • Littlefinger and Jaime led the royal forces’ night assault on Rising Stone Town, where Divine Grace, cannon fire, and the Holy Shield Warriors routed the Reach army and left several Riverlands and Reach nobles dead.
  • Theon suspected that the deaths during the battle’s blackouts were targeted assassinations, while Jon Snow left Crow’s Nest with an army and Joffrey prepared to strike Renly at Storm’s End.
  • Joffrey used Melisandre’s Shadow Assassin to kill Renly’s supporters at their feast, and the Hound’s forces captured the rebel army as Jon Snow ordered Hart Fell to attack Felwood.

Arc 10The Siren Kraken and the Southern Campaign

Joffrey captured the Siren Kraken, negotiated with a mysterious will, and punished Euron Crow's Eye before reorganizing the islands and preparing to conquer Dorne. As the royal campaign expanded, Garlan Tyrell became Governor of Old Oak and led the advance against resistance there.

  • The Royal Fleet trapped the Sea Monster with Depth Charges, but it broke the net, defeated the fleet’s defenses, and pursued Joffrey aboard the Divine Grace.
  • Joffrey negotiated with a mysterious will while the Sea Monster advanced, then transformed the Divine Grace into a giant that subdued the creature and dispersed the storm.
  • Joffrey named the captured Sea Monster Siren Kraken, made it guard the waters, and learned that Theon Greyjoy had gained the first seawater Proof of Heroism.
  • Joffrey spared Euron Crow's Eye’s life but ordered severe punishments, then legitimized Mia Stonehouse as Mia Farman and entrusted her with Fair Isle.
  • Joffrey appointed Falia Flowers liaison for the Shield Islands and announced campaigns against resistance in the Reach and Dorne, while Mace Tyrell accepted command of the southern campaign.
  • Siren Kraken transferred advancement knowledge to Joffrey, who investigated Hero Authorities and ordered it to join the fleet attacking Dorne.
  • Joffrey’s new regional boundaries shifted much of the Reach into other provinces, while Highgarden chose confiscated lands to add to its holdings.
