Background

Greenlark Douluo is one of Spirit Hall’s senior Elder Palace figures and Qian Daoliu’s third brother. He had watched the former Pope, Qian Xunji, grow up, leaving him deeply affected by Su Yu’s near-identical appearance and mannerisms. 2 28

After deacon Lin Chen reported the awakening of an Angel Martial Soul in Zonghun Village, Greenlark took control of the report rather than allowing it to reach the Pope Palace. He personally brought Lin Chen to Elder Palace, informed Qian Daoliu, and was ordered to retrieve the child immediately. 1 2

Upon meeting Su Yu, Greenlark suspected that the orphan could be Qian Xunji’s hidden son due to his Angel Martial Soul and uncanny resemblance to the late Pope. Concerned that Bibi Dong might endanger him, he took Su Yu to Elder Palace and arranged financial support for Zonghun Village. 2

He is also blunt, politically hostile toward Bibi Dong, and willing to mock her openly. Following Su Yu’s victory over the Golden Generation, he used their defeat to criticize Bibi Dong’s management of Spirit Hall and deliberately humiliate her faction. 19

Despite his humor and indulgence toward Su Yu’s teasing, Greenlark is decisive in dangerous situations. He keeps Su Yu under covert protection in Tiandou City and immediately kills a hostile Zhu family Spirit King who attempts to seize him. 23 28
