About twenty minutes later, Fu Hua led someone in. Kiana, who had nearly fallen asleep, woke at the sound and wiped the corner of her mouth.
"Finally here?"
Kiana intended to get a good look at whether this new teacher was any better than Teacher Himeko.
"Hello, everyone. I'm the new teacher. My name is Yomi."
The purple-black-haired girl stood before all the students.
The students had initially assumed that the teacher who had gotten lost would be the scatterbrained, cutesy sort, but they were all somewhat surprised upon seeing Yomi's exquisite yet aloof appearance.
And although Yomi carried herself with a mature air, she did not look very old.
"Teacher, how old are you?"
A student asked curiously.
For a teacher, Yomi looked far too young.
"Ten... twenty."
Yomi thought for a moment before answering.
After all, much of her current information no longer belonged to her.
"Mm..."
When Yomi saw Seele among the students, her gaze froze slightly.
"This child... she resembles... the one in my memories..."
Fragments surfaced in Yomi's mind, but for some reason, her intuition told her that the blue-haired girl before her was not the person she was truly looking for.
Then, when she saw the silver-gray-haired girl among the students who had kept her head lowered and had not looked at her, Yomi instinctively called out her name.
"Bronya..."
Hearing that familiar tone, Bronya abruptly looked up. Her eyes lit up for an instant, only to dim again when she saw Yomi.
Seeing her like that, Yomi felt an inexplicable stab of pain in her chest.
"Teacher Yomi, Teacher Yomi!"
The white-haired girl's voice pulled Yomi back from the sudden rush of emotion.
"What is it?"
Yomi looked at the lively white-haired girl in confusion.
"You... what's your relationship with Mei? You look
