Amnesia in Changkong City

Yomi awakens in Changkong City with severe amnesia, retaining only fragments of her past. Sora takes her in, and Yomi immediately demonstrates overwhelming combat instincts by effortlessly killing a Honkai Beast while protecting her new companion. An intense Honkai-energy reaction coincides with her appearance, though Schicksal dismisses it as transient. 45

Raven tests Yomi by ordering her to clear half of several nearby Honkai Beast strongholds within two hours. Yomi returns after 20 minutes, having eliminated every target and collected more than a dozen Honkai Emperor cores. Raven subsequently recommends her to World Serpent, where Grey Serpent identifies an unanalysable power in her genes and accepts her as an executive. 47 48

World Serpent and St. Freya Academy

While working with World Serpent, Yomi accompanies Raven to London to interfere with Schicksal’s pursuit of the Second Divine Key. At the British Museum, she subdues Stan—a cat-like Honkai Beast she mistakes for her lost cat—and assists the S-rank Valkyrie Rita Rossweisse against it. 51 52

Grey Serpent then arranges for Yomi to enter St. Freya Academy under the identity of an A-rank Valkyrie and practical-lesson teacher. Her first demonstrations far exceed that cover identity: she instantly defeats simulated Emperor-class Honkai Beasts Parvati and Ganesha, the latter through her newly manifested Death and Decay domain. 52 54 55

Her resemblance and bloodline response to Raiden Mei initially lead Yomi to believe she may be Mei’s mother. The truth is later clarified: Raiden Mei and Elysia are Yomi’s biological parents, making Mei her mother despite Yomi’s apparently greater physical age. 55 106 110

Elysium Everlasting and recovered heritage

Otto captures Yomi by threatening Raiden Mei, bringing her into a world bubble where Elysia’s residual consciousness temporarily acts through Yomi’s body. This reveals Elysia’s continued connection to Yomi and begins Yomi’s journey into Elysium Everlasting. 68 69

Within Elysium, Yomi meets the Flame-Chasers, inherits Signets, and learns that Elysia is her biological mother and a memory fragment from 50,000 years ago. Elysia’s remaining consciousness maintains the mixed powers inside Yomi and fears that the void within her will consume her if she cannot find her own meaning. 78 81 82

Yomi eventually unseals Jizo Mitama during a duel with Kevin. The weapon restores memories connected to “Rosia,” the Sea of Quanta, and the Life Cultivator, helping Yomi understand why her existence and consciousness are unstable. 93 94

Nihility crisis

After recovering further memories, Yomi’s innate domain evolves into Nihility. As she severs the meanings connecting her to reality, her hair turns gray-white, her emotions fade, and her domain spreads across two Far Eastern cities. She considers self-destruction preferable to becoming a danger to humanity. 103 104 105 107

Kevin and Raiden Mei enter the domain to save her. Mei’s intervention allows Honkai energy to force a Herrscher transformation, but a new Honkai consciousness takes over Yomi’s body.
