Background / History

Rosia was created by Cocolia as a clone of Seele, carrying Bronya’s potential. Her existence is tied to the Life Cultivator and the genetic traits of both Bronya and Seele; she regards the two as her mothers. Her mind is split between Rosia herself and an alternate consciousness also called “Rosia,” later distinguished as Hei-Rosia. 13 40 121

After arriving at St. Freya Academy, Rosia quickly becomes attached to Bronya, whom she calls “Bronya-mama.” Although she retains extensive knowledge, her judgment and behavior are shaped by a timid, childlike mindset and a strong need for security. Bronya gradually accepts her as her daughter, especially after Rosia risks herself to protect her during Theresa’s practical test. 8 9 11 14

Rosia secretly prepares to leave St. Freya in order to gamble on unlocking her Stigmata’s full power. Her goal is to rescue Seele from the Sea of Quanta and preserve Hei-Rosia’s consciousness through the Key of Erosion. Before departing, she buys and mails Bronya a limited-edition Houmu plushie, then conceals her diary among her belongings. 34

The gamble succeeds only partially. Rosia prematurely emerges from the Sea of Quanta after absorbing its chaotic energy, becoming vastly stronger but increasingly unstable. She finds Seele, gives her a hairpin to aid her escape, and confronts Cocolia over the orphanage experiments. Rosia’s original consciousness is subsequently believed lost, while Hei-Rosia becomes an uncontrollable Honkai Beast-like threat in the Far East sea area. 40 41 42

Rosia later returns as Anti-Entropy’s true Alliance Leader and the First Herrscher, but initially fails to recognize Bronya or Seele. Following Yomi’s intervention, she awakens with only Little Hei-Rosia’s recent memories. White Rosia and Hei-Rosia remain distinct consciousnesses capable of merging, while Little Hei-Rosia remains a separate consciousness associated with the Herrscher of Reason core. 94 96 121

Appearance

Rosia resembles Seele closely in both appearance and temperament. She is a small blue-haired girl with silver-gray eyes, described as around ten years old during her early time at St. Freya and eleven to twelve later. 12 22 149

Despite appearing naïve, Rosia is observant and perceptive. She recognizes irregularities surrounding Bronya, Cocolia, and the Far East, yet chooses not to expose them because she wishes to fulfill her plan to save Seele and give Hei-Rosia another chance at life. 34

Hei-Rosia is more suspicious, blunt, possessive, and ruthless. She frequently calls Rosia a “little dummy,” but is deeply concerned for her security and well-being.
