Over the next few days, the Iron Skull Archmagos threw himself wholeheartedly into repairing Luca's Knight Mech.
Li Qinwu handled logistics, controlling Lilith's Wedding Ring to produce every adamantium component the Iron Skull Archmagos needed.
While he was at it, he also produced the parts needed for the Knight Mechs on the Fortress World. He found time to return to the Knight Legion once and hand the parts over to Tech-Priest Busi, asking him to repair all the damaged Knight Mechs before returning to Moon 2.
He spent five days on Moon 2 before Luca's Knight Mech was fully repaired. The remaining two days were mostly devoted to calibrating the new machine's operating data, gradually freeing up the Iron Skull Archmagos.
Once Li Qinwu saw that the Iron Skull Archmagos was no longer so busy, he asked him:
"Have you come up with anything good lately? Come on, show me!"
The Iron Skull Archmagos possessed a staggering wealth of knowledge, and he was a Tech-Priest with ideas of his own. After all this time, Li Qinwu refused to believe he hadn't tinkered with something in private.
The Iron Skull Archmagos liked showing off his work. Whenever he created a magnificent machine, he simply had to share it with others to demonstrate his own greatness.
So the moment Li Qinwu asked, he eagerly led him to a vault deep within the Iron Furnace Hive to see his creation.
The vault's ceiling was very high, over a hundred meters up. Huge scaffolds lined its walls, securing a humanoid framework more than eighty meters tall.
One look at the framework made of ordinary steel, and Li Qinwu understood. This was the Iron Skull Archmagos's experimental Titan prototype!
