Arc 11The Aeldari Siege

Li Qinwu expanded his farms and influence while a war between Orks and Eldar brought an Aeldari Warrior to Agricultural Planet 496b. After she devastated Hive City and attacked General Zeppelin’s residence, Li Qinwu confronted her by threatening her kin and Spirit Stones.

  • Li Qinwu strengthened his Psychic abilities, expanded his farming operations, and formed militia companies after a clash with the 81st Regiment over a burned farm.
  • Li Qinwu arranged transport with the captain, established a farming and Guga Beast operation on Garden Island under Butler Killian, and learned that Ork and Eldar fleets were approaching the planet.
  • The Ork and Eldar fleets destroyed each other, but an Aeldari Warrior survived a shuttle crash and escaped after killing many PDF soldiers.
  • Li Qinwu and the planetary nobles failed to capture the Aeldari Warrior, who killed nobles and attacked government offices after her kin were tortured.
  • General Zeppelin assigned Li Qinwu’s regiment to guard his residence, but the Aeldari Warrior infiltrated the Spire and sabotaged its reactor, causing a catastrophic explosion.
  • The Aeldari Warrior attacked the Spire’s glass dome and fought through Zeppelin’s guards, while Li Qinwu pinned her down with Bolt Carbine fire.
  • When the Aeldari Warrior charged General Zeppelin, Li Qinwu threatened her kin and their Spirit Stones, making her stop.
Chapters 251–275 Vol. 3 Read

Ch. 251God-Emperor's Blessing

After eliminating the tenth Daemon, Li Qinwu received the God-Emperor's Blessing, which greatly increased his resistance to Psychic Power and magic. While waiting for the elevator, he learned Psychic Blast and Stasis Spell from the Silent One, then used Psychic Power to launch a bullet with enough force to destroy a corpse.

  • Li Qinwu killed the tenth Daemon and completed the mission, earning the God-Emperor's Blessing.
  • Li Qinwu discovered that his Mental Power had risen to 50 and his Warp Resistance and Psychic Resistance had reached 400.
  • The Silent One tested Li Qinwu's defenses with Gravity Spell and Psychic Blast, finding that most Psychic attacks barely affected him.
  • The Silent One taught Li Qinwu Psychic Blast, and Li Qinwu practiced it against the steel wall.
  • The Silent One demonstrated Stasis Spell, and Li Qinwu stopped a bullet with a Psychic Shield over his chest.
  • Li Qinwu altered a bullet's Warp nature and sent it flying into a corpse, blasting the corpse apart.

Ch. 252Harvesting Grain

Li Qinwu recovered from using Psychic Power, learned Lightning Sword, and discovered he could coat his Power Sword in golden Psychic Flame. Back at the front, he found the PDF struggling against increasingly effective rebel forces while his overlooked regiment prepared to harvest its first crop.

  • Li Qinwu altered a pistol bullet with Psychic Power, exhausted himself, and learned Lightning Sword from the Silent One.
  • The Silent One planned to study mind-control spells, while Li Qinwu warned him to conduct his research safely and keep Holy Wine and Holy Oil nearby.
  • Li Qinwu tested his golden Psychic Flame, shaped it into a gauntlet, and coated his Power Sword to create a Flame Sword.
  • Li Qinwu returned to his regiment and saw that the PDF had stalled as rebels used guerrilla tactics and wiped out entire PDF Regiments.
  • Li Qinwu learned the first batch of grain was ready for harvest and went to inspect it, finding that the planet's higher-ups had not come to claim a share.

Ch. 253The Farm Was Burned

Li Qinwu expanded farming and livestock production to meet his captain’s demands, but the 109th Regiment’s growing fields stretched its defenses thin. After an 81st Regiment unit burned a farm and attacked the farmers, Li Qinwu’s forces killed the attackers and disguised their bodies as rebels, leaving him to face the surviving women and call a meeting.

  • Li Qinwu ordered his battalion commanders to seize more land, bring in labor, and establish Guga Beast breeding farms.
  • As refugees arrived and cultivation spread, the 109th Regiment’s control and deterrence weakened.
  • Egghead reported that an 81st Regiment company had attacked a farm fifteen kilometers west and was destroying its crops.
  • Li Qinwu led troops to the burning farm, opened fire on the looters, and forced the surviving attackers to surrender.
  • Li Qinwu declared the attackers to be rebels, ordered their bodies dressed in rebel clothing, and shot the 81st Regiment officer.
  • Egghead told Li Qinwu that more than thirty surviving women had been violated, and Li Qinwu called the battalion commanders to a meeting.

Ch. 254Military Police

Li Qinwu formed a militia to protect the farmers and secure their loyalty, but the commander of the 81st Regiment brought Military Police to arrest him over accusations of attacking friendly forces. The chapter ended with Li Qinwu breaking the spines of two officers who tried to seize him.

  • Li Qinwu announced that he would form ten militia companies and require recruits' families to live in Hive City as hostages.
  • One thousand young farmers signed up, and Li Qinwu armed them, appointed officers from his private army, and stationed them around the farmland.
  • Colonel Leo warned Li Qinwu that the commander of the 81st Regiment had reported him and might send Military Police to investigate.
  • The commander of the 81st Regiment arrived with Military Police and accused Li Qinwu of killing two companies before a major ordered officers to arrest him.
  • Li Qinwu lifted two Military Police officers by their belts and slammed them to the ground, breaking their spines.

Ch. 255Military Police 2

Li Qinwu forced the Military Police major to back down after surrounding him with armed soldiers, then confronted the commander of the 81st Regiment over missing troops and alleged tolls. The major recognized that the 81st Regiment had likely detoured to avoid Li Qinwu’s tolls and lost its convoy to him, but he dared not intervene.

  • Li Qinwu’s soldiers aimed their guns at the Military Police, and the major dropped his threats and called the confrontation a joke.
  • Li Qinwu demanded that the 81st Regiment commander explain why he had brought the Military Police to arrest him.
  • The commander accused Li Qinwu’s 109th Regiment of charging illegal tolls and making an 81st Regiment transport company and infantry company disappear.
  • Li Qinwu denied the accusations and showed the major a passbook with no record of the 81st Regiment’s units passing through his defense zone.
  • The commander admitted his troops had taken a detour to avoid tolls, and Li Qinwu said the toll was only three bags of grain per large vehicle.
  • The Military Police major suspected Li Qinwu had intercepted the detouring convoy and that its personnel had been killed, but he stayed silent.

Ch. 256Viltrum Grand Seat!

Li Qinwu confronted the 81st Regiment commander after his troops attacked farmers in Li Qinwu’s territory. After revealing his noble status and challenging the commander to fight unarmed, Li Qinwu killed him with a Viltrum Grand Seat.

  • The Military Police major tried to settle the dispute, but the 81st Regiment commander demanded a duel with Li Qinwu.
  • Li Qinwu agreed to the duel and revealed his Power Sword and his titles as a baron, lord of Whitewater City, savior of the Spire, Daemon executioner, and Holy Warrior.
  • Li Qinwu declared that the 81st Regiment’s soldiers had murdered farmers and burned a farmstead, while the Military Police major declined to intervene.
  • Li Qinwu put away his Power Sword and challenged the commander to fight hand-to-hand.
  • Li Qinwu knocked the commander down and killed him by clamping his neck between his glutes.

Ch. 257Captain's Progress

After the 81st Regiment commander’s accidental death, Li Qinwu decided he needed his own territory to expand his farming operation. He proposed seizing Garden Island to the captain, then encountered the Traffic Light Trio pursuing Red Lady.

  • Li Qinwu celebrated his victory with bodybuilding poses and an acceptance speech, while the Military Police carried away the dead commander and injured officers.
  • Li Qinwu concluded that his farm had attracted unwanted attention and chose Garden Island as a safer place to raise Guga Beasts.
  • Li Qinwu asked the captain to provide Shuttle transportation for an expedition to Garden Island, and the captain agreed to help if Li Qinwu proved his strength.
  • On the way to show the captain his food processing plant, Li Qinwu ran into the Traffic Light Trio, who revealed they were pursuing Red Lady.
  • Li Qinwu watched Red Lady sing and praised the trio’s taste after seeing her alluring appearance.

Ch. 258Red Lady

Li Qinwu turned a meeting with Red Lady into a deal to distribute his brewery’s wine, then used a deposit of canned meat to secure the captain’s transport services. The captain agreed to help move goods, giving Li Qinwu a way to send his private soldiers and supplies to Garden Island.

  • Yellowhead recited a crude poem, Redhead vowed to compete with Red Lady’s dog for her attention, and Greenhead tried to attack her before the other two restrained him.
  • Li Qinwu presented Red Lady with the Brewing Plant’s business card and proposed that she distribute his wine through her established sales network in exchange for half the profits.
  • Li Qinwu returned with Red Lady’s signed-off white silk glove, and the Traffic Light Trio fought over it.
  • Li Qinwu showed the captain his properties and three thousand private soldiers, then offered him more than ten thousand cans of Guga Meat as a deposit for transport.
  • The captain agreed to provide six atmospheric transport Camel Shuttles and twenty Avirlus Shuttles, and he summoned a Camel Shuttle to take the cans into space.

Ch. 259Shuttle Acquired

Li Qinwu traded ten thousand cans of meat to the captain, who gave him an Avirlus Shuttle and a temporary pilot. Li Qinwu prepared to scout Garden Island and learn how to operate the shuttle.

  • Li Qinwu showed the captain the busy Strategic Storage Warehouse and explained his growing workshops, academy, and workforce.
  • Li Qinwu opened containers of canned meat with the Black Card, and the captain described how valuable high-grade food was to soldiers on his industrial planet.
  • Li Qinwu's workers loaded ten thousand cans onto the Camel Shuttle, and the captain declared Li Qinwu his friend after his ten-year mission made progress.
  • Li Qinwu asked for a shuttle so he could scout Garden Island, and the captain agreed to lend him one along with a pilot.
  • The captain gave Li Qinwu an Avirlus Shuttle and explained its fuel range and weapon-mount options.

Ch. 260Landing on the Island

Li Qinwu flew to Garden Island and discovered a cargo ship that might be restored for transporting people. The island’s farmers welcomed him as a returning noble, and he left the chapter among them as they asked whether more nobles would return.

  • Li Qinwu flew the Shuttle to Garden Island, surveyed the island, and estimated that its population was under three hundred thousand.
  • Li Qinwu spotted a shipyard and landed the Shuttle on a massive cargo ship, then inspected its engine room and found the ship could be used after major repairs.
  • The Shuttle pilot warned Li Qinwu that nearly a thousand people were approaching, so Li Qinwu hurried back to the deck.
  • Li Qinwu mistook the unarmed farmers for rebels, but they knelt when he confirmed he was a noble.
  • Li Qinwu joined the farmers and told them he had returned, while they asked whether the rebels had been defeated and more nobles would come back.

Ch. 261Garden Island 2

Li Qinwu assessed Garden Island’s people and resources, then planned to turn it into a food-production base while hiding his control of it behind a suitable front. He chose Butler Killian to represent the White Tree family, but had not yet explained the task.

  • Li Qinwu questioned the old farmer about Garden Island’s population, infrastructure, food supply, and rebels, then praised the farmers’ loyalty and promised the lords would return.
  • Li Qinwu concluded the island could support expanded farming, Guga Beast ranches, and canned food production once he brought in machinery and restored its power.
  • Li Qinwu sent private soldiers to establish military control of the island, asked Father Anthony to inspect the docked ships, and ordered a canned food production line dismantled for later use.
  • Li Qinwu decided to conceal his involvement by claiming rebels had occupied Garden Island and sending someone who looked like a noble to direct the servants.
  • Li Qinwu gave Butler Killian the White Tree family crest and told him he had a difficult task.

Ch. 262Garden Island 3

Li Qinwu sent Butler Killian to Garden Island in disguise as the heir of the White Tree Family, then turned the island into a major agricultural and livestock base. His expansion was interrupted by news that an Ork junk fleet was approaching Agricultural Planet 496b and an Eldar warship was heading for the Hive City.

  • Li Qinwu ordered Butler Killian to pose as the White Tree Family’s heir and establish a rebel administration on Garden Island while collecting only half the island’s produce.
  • Killian arrived on Garden Island in elaborate aristocratic attire and, within a week, established a basic administrative system with the servants’ obedience.
  • Li Qinwu transported farm machinery to Garden Island, where workers cleared its gardens and leisure grounds for farmland.
  • Li Qinwu sent Guga Beast cubs and domestication equipment to the island and oversaw the construction of livestock barns.
  • The Hive City observatory detected a massive Ork junk fleet approaching Agricultural Planet 496b and an Eldar warship approaching the Hive City.

Ch. 263Xenos Fleets

Li Qinwu and the 109th Regiment entered the Hive City to defend it, but first had to disperse rioters amid panic over approaching Ork and Eldar fleets. After the fleets fought for more than a week near Agricultural World 496B, both sides were completely wiped out.

  • Greenskin and Eldar fleets approached Agricultural World 496B, prompting the Hive City to mobilize its defenses as civilians rioted.
  • Li Qinwu led the 109th Regiment against rioters, shooting one who tried to attack his Chimera with a firebomb.
  • Li Qinwu found Black Charcoal looting a store, then declared the regiment's assigned streets clear and rested in a Command Chimera.
  • Li Qinwu called Reno, who reported that five Ork junk warships and one Eldar light frigate had begun fighting near the planet.
  • Reno told Li Qinwu that the captain planned to stay put and profit whichever fleet won, while nobles sought passage off-world.
  • The Ork and Eldar fleets fought for more than a week, and both were completely destroyed.

Ch. 264Xenos Annihilated?

The Eldar Battleship fought the Ork fleet near Agricultural Planet 496b, destroying or disabling several Ork ships. The last Ork Battleship destroyed itself to ram the Eldar vessel, leaving both Xenos fleets wiped out and the planet’s immediate threat apparently resolved.

  • The Aeldari Battleship outmaneuvered the Ork fleet and destroyed two Ork Battleships while a third broke down.
  • The Aeldari Battleship disabled the largest Ork Battleship’s weapons, approached it, and crippled it with a torpedo.
  • Hive City officials celebrated, believing the Orks were dead and the Eldar would leave them alone.
  • The damaged Ork Battleship exploded and launched its enormous steel face into the Aeldari Battleship, shattering it.
  • The observers realized both Xenos fleets had been destroyed, apparently ending the threat to Agricultural Planet 496b.

Ch. 265Aeldari Warrior

Li Qinwu’s regiment ambushed an Aeldari Shuttle, captured its survivors, and celebrated until a hidden Aeldari Warrior massacred the PDF troops. Li Qinwu then confronted her while holding the chained prisoners at gunpoint.

  • Li Qinwu’s regiment withdrew from the Hive City and deployed with other PDF units to intercept the damaged Aeldari Shuttle.
  • The Shuttle crashed in farmland, and PDF troops killed several Aeldar and captured five survivors.
  • Li Qinwu stole a Psychic Stealth Cloak from the wreckage while an Aeldari Warrior emerged from beneath the debris.
  • The Aeldari Warrior used her Shuriken Pistol and Power Scimitar to kill hundreds of PDF soldiers and destroy a Chimera Transport.
  • Li Qinwu applauded the warrior and threatened one of the chained Aeldari prisoners, asking her to repeat her attack on the Chimera.

Ch. 266Eldar Captives

Li Qinwu used five Eldar captives to force an Aeldari Warrior to choose between surrendering and escaping, and she fled when the PDF regrouped. Days later, planetary officials argued over what to do with the captured Eldar, while nobles proposed claiming them and Imperial Cult priests condemned the idea.

  • Li Qinwu held his pistol to a captive’s head and ordered the Aeldari Warrior to remove her helmet and weapon or he would kill one of her kin.
  • The Aeldari Warrior saw the PDF closing in, judged that escape was her best option, and fought through a gap in their lines before disappearing into the fields.
  • The PDF and planetary officials surrounded Li Qinwu after the warrior escaped.
  • Days later, Upper Court officials debated the fate of the five captured Eldar, including two injured Aeldari Warriors who had been stripped of their armor and fitted with restraints.
  • Nobles argued over the Eldar and proposed a slave auction, while an Imperial Cult priest denounced them for wanting relations with Xenos.

Ch. 267Eldar Prisoners 2

Li Qinwu warned the nobles that the escaped Aeldari Warrior could threaten the Hive City and advised them not to mistreat her kin unless they were prepared to lure and kill her. An Imperial Cult priest burned an Eldar prisoner as bait, but the warrior did not appear, though Li Qinwu sensed her Psychic Power nearby.

  • As the nobles argued over the five Eldar prisoners, Li Qinwu reminded them that an Aeldari Warrior had escaped and warned that she could be watching them.
  • Li Qinwu proposed using the prisoners to lure the warrior into an ambush, and the Imperial Cult priest insisted on taking one prisoner for his own trap.
  • The priest chained a male Eldar prisoner to a steel pyre, tortured him, and prepared Melta Bombs in case the warrior came to rescue him.
  • After waiting for the Aeldari Warrior to appear, the priest set the pyre alight, and the prisoner burned to death.
  • Li Qinwu sensed a faint Psychic Power fluctuation from the forest and told the priest the Emperor would soon welcome him back to the Golden Throne.

Ch. 268Retribution

Li Qinwu heard that nobles had abused their Eldar captives and continued training while comparing his strength to an Astartes. Reno later reported that the priest who had barbecued the Eldar prisoners had been murdered in a gruesome act of apparent retaliation.

  • Reno told Li Qinwu that nobles had bought Eldar captives, and that an Earl and several noblewomen had suffered horrific consequences after trying to sleep with them.
  • Li Qinwu and Reno discussed the danger of provoking the Aeldari Warrior and the planet’s overdue Imperial taxes before ending their call.
  • Li Qinwu trained his body and Psychic Power, growing stronger while concluding that he was still no match for an Astartes.
  • Reno told Li Qinwu that the priest who had barbecued the Eldar prisoners had been nailed to a God-Emperor Icon, skinned, and surrounded by blood-written insults.

Ch. 269Bolt Carbine

The Aeldari Warrior continued her revenge, killing nobles and government workers as the Spire descended into panic. General Zeppelin summoned Li Qinwu’s regiment to guard his family spire and prepared to arm the soldiers against her.

  • The Aeldari Warrior killed nobles who had tortured her kin, then attacked government offices in the Middle Hive when the army increased its patrols.
  • The Spire nobles argued for days over how to stop her but came up with no plan.
  • General Zeppelin summoned Li Qinwu’s 109th Regiment to guard his family spire, which had its own private force of more than three thousand soldiers in Power Armor.
  • General Zeppelin explained that the Aeldari Warrior was difficult to track and armored against light weapons, then had soldiers reveal Bolt Carbines for the officers.

Ch. 270Bolt Carbine 2

Li Qinwu received Bolt Carbines and reinforced General Zeppelin’s defenses as the Aeldari threat kept the general confined to his residence. A few days later, Zeppelin was still at home playing Gomoku when a servant reported that his wife wanted to go shopping.

  • General Zeppelin assigned Li Qinwu’s battalion to defend a section of the wall around his residence and issued ten Bolt Carbines with ammunition.
  • Li Qinwu transferred 150 of his Power Armor soldiers to Zeppelin’s defense, distributed the general’s cash gift, and examined the powerful Bolt Carbine and its rounds.
  • After fire restrictions were lifted, Li Qinwu test-fired the Bolt Carbine and blasted apart walls at the servants’ quarters.
  • A few days later, General Zeppelin played Gomoku with his butler and celebrated his 359th consecutive win.
  • A servant told General Zeppelin that his wife wanted to go shopping and could not be stopped.

Ch. 271Hat Factory

General Zeppelin tried to keep his wife inside while an Aeldari assassin stalked the Hive City, but she left anyway and was killed. The assassin later failed to enter Zeppelin's Spire after his order to disable his wife's biometric keys, then escaped before the PDF troops arrived.

  • General Zeppelin's wife insisted on going out despite his warnings, and he ordered the butler to disable her biometric keys.
  • The aristocratic lady and her driver stopped in a dark alley, where the disguised Aeldari Warrior killed them and took the lady's head and hand.
  • The Aeldari Warrior infiltrated the guards around General Zeppelin's Spire and tried the lady's bloodied hand and retina at a locked door.
  • The door rejected both biometric keys, so the Aeldari Warrior retreated and vanished into the Upper Hive streets.
  • The PDF troops reached the door and found the lady's severed head and hand.

Ch. 272Explosion!

The Aeldari Warrior infiltrated General Zeppelin’s Spire and detonated its controlled fusion reactor, causing a massive collapse and a dangerous radiation leak. Li Qinwu’s troops survived the initial blast, but the Spire was left in darkness and the area near the explosion became a molten wasteland.

  • General Zeppelin ordered the noblewoman’s remains cremated and continued playing after hearing the Aeldari Warrior had failed to open the Spire’s outer door.
  • Li Qinwu sensed imminent danger and ordered his soldiers to stay alert while repeatedly repositioning the Logging Guns.
  • A violent explosion shook the Hive City, collapsing part of General Zeppelin’s Spire and plunging its interior into darkness.
  • Li Qinwu saw radiation warnings on his armor and ordered his men to hold their positions.
  • The Aeldari Warrior’s attack on the controlled fusion reactor caused radiation to exceed safe levels and melted layers of Plasteel near the blast site.

Ch. 273Nuclear Disaster

An Aeldari Warrior sabotaged the nuclear reactor beneath General Zeppelin's home, combining an overclocked reactor with a handheld nuclear bomb to trigger a catastrophic explosion. The blast devastated the Hive City, killing or injuring millions and spreading radiation across its levels.

  • The Aeldari Warrior infiltrated the underground nuclear facility through an ancient passage and killed guards and staff without raising the alarm.
  • She overclocked the reactor, cut its safety rods, damaged its cooling pipes, and set a handheld nuclear bomb beside it.
  • The bomb detonated and triggered the unstable reactor, causing an explosion equivalent to more than fifty million tons of TNT.
  • The blast tore through more than fifty levels, collapsed part of General Zeppelin's family's spire, killed or injured over three million people, and exposed more than twenty million to radiation.

Ch. 274A Tiger Among Sheep

The Aeldari Warrior destroyed the glass dome above General Zeppelin’s palace, causing massive casualties, then used the chaos and darkness to attack the surviving Power Armor guards. Li Qinwu’s men suffered relatively few losses, but the Aeldari Warrior continued cutting through the defenders.

  • Li Qinwu realized the Aeldari Warrior was above the palace and warned his troops as she climbed the Spire and planted a Nuclear Grenade on the glass dome.
  • The Nuclear Grenade shattered a large section of the dome, sending enormous glass fragments crashing onto the estate and killing or injuring many defenders.
  • Li Qinwu counted his 150 men and found that 12 were lost, while General Zeppelin’s residence was devastated and Zeppelin’s fate remained unknown.
  • The Aeldari Warrior clung to a falling glass fragment, landed safely, and began killing the surviving Power Armor guards in the darkness.
  • The guards opened fire with Heavy-Barrel Lasguns, but the Aeldari Warrior evaded their shots and repeatedly slashed through their Ceramite armor.

Ch. 275General Zeppelin Severely Wounded

Li Qinwu and the Power Armor guards fought to stop an Aeldari Warrior from killing General Zeppelin, who had survived the destruction of his residence but was severely wounded. When the Aeldari Warrior resumed her attack, Li Qinwu threatened to destroy her kin’s Spirit Stones, making her halt.

  • The Aeldari Warrior slaughtered Power Armor guards until Li Qinwu pinned her down with precise Bolt Carbine fire.
  • Li Qinwu kept firing with fresh Bolt Carbines, but the Aeldari Warrior used the guards as cover and forced him to stop shooting.
  • General Zeppelin emerged from the rubble severely injured, and the Aeldari Warrior charged toward him.
  • Hundreds of guards surrounded General Zeppelin, but the Aeldari Warrior cut through them with her Star Marker Pistol and Power Sword.
  • Li Qinwu left the city wall and threatened to kill the Aeldari Warrior’s kin and destroy their Spirit Stones, causing her to stop.
