• At Tongda Escort Agency’s ruins, Jiang Jingnian discovered that Bi Fang’s Fire had kept him alive as a future Human Pill, then used True Fire Within Wood to devour it and defeat Tao Xiangsheng.
• Jiang Jingnian and Liu Qingzhi combined fire and snow to drive Tao Xiangsheng away, and Jiang revealed that he had advanced to the Mid Inner Qi Realm.
• Jiang Jingnian refined the Suihua Greenwood Sword, gained Lifespan Theft, and learned that Cloud Mountain planned to elevate his standing while using him to draw powerful enemies.

After defending the Qu Household and collecting debts, he hunted a fiendish cultivator at the Snowgate Grand Theater, where he faced Yin Qingzhu.

• Jiang Jingnian entered the Gou Wu Ruins, saved Qu Chuanheng and Chen Qinghua from Japanese attackers, and killed Elder Lan, Lei Chengshu, and other assailants who confronted him.
• Yun Fengyou completed the Sky Crow Ritual, but the Sky-Crow Heartbright Jade and phantom sun transformed his Sky Crow and Halt-War Gold into the blood-red [Misty Sun Sword], plunging the Grandmasters into battle.
• Jiang Jingnian escaped the collapsing ruins, killed Jason and his knights, and devoured two Sky Crow Golden Canon fragments, gaining the Sky-Metal Western Extremity Five-Chapter True Canon.

• Jiang Jingnian killed Yin Qingzhu, formed the Martial Soul Samadhi True Fire, and found the badly wounded Liu Qingzhi with Hong Yulü.
• Jiang Jingnian killed Bai Xuerou and An Mingpu, broke free of Manrod’s illusion, and escaped the contaminated forest with Liu Qingzhi and Hong Yulü.
• Jiang Jingnian refined his spoils, told Liu Qingzhi he had killed An Mingpu and Bai Xuerou, and considered leaving the region after taking what he was owed.
• Jiang Jingnian bought the Solar Orderer’s Shroud fragments at auction, ambushed Saionji Yexiong’s party, and took the antiques after sealing the demon sword Xi Huo.

Jiang Jingnian broke the Blood Moon plot in Little Auspicious Village, then pursued the Sterling Family and the factions behind Jinling City’s Human Pill scheme. After destroying the Martial Hall and defeating the Tummo monks, he left Jie Er guarding Lin Martial Hall while he refined its relics.

• Jiang Jingnian defeated Tao Xiangsheng and broke the Mandala Ritual, then gathered the Mithril Temple’s treasures as the trapped survivors were released.
• The Sterling knights captured Liao Chuzhou and the others, but Jiang Jingnian killed Fili Sterling and his forces, freed Zhuge Xin and Ariya, and discovered that Li Ahe could not leave Little Auspicious Village.
