Arnold naturally woke up as well. Although he had entered a special state of comprehending the Water Element Technique, he had remained conscious and knew that he had reached the most critical moment.

Arnold felt his very soul tremble. The sea of spiritual power within his mind surged and roared in every direction, while even his soul crystal shook and changed. Arnold knew that it was advancing toward the Saint Domain.

Arnold's spiritual power continued to transform, while the area covered by his sea of spiritual power gradually shrank. In other words, the quantity of his spiritual power was decreasing, but its quality was continuously increasing. Most importantly, the appearance of Arnold's soul crystal was constantly changing, slowly undergoing a transformation.

The total amount of spiritual power sharply dropped to only around a tenth of what it had originally been. Yet the quality of that spiritual power had become far greater.

The changes in his spiritual power came quickly, but the transformation of his soul was much slower.

There was no point in staring endlessly at his soul's transformation. Arnold directly blasted apart the surrounding columns of water and shot onto the deck.

The captain, sailors, and Pitero were all still watching him!

Arnold instructed the captain to continue onward, then returned to his room and began studying magic.

Knowing that Arnold was unharmed, Pitero resumed his cultivation as well.

Inside one of the ship's rooms, Arnold studied magic while waiting for his soul crystal to complete its transformation.

Finally, on the third day, Arnold felt a tremor from his soul.

That meant Arnold's soul transformation had succeeded.

Arnold excitedly examined his soul. Within his mind, above the vast sea of spiritual power, a sphere was actually floating in the air, surrounded by a faint earthy-yellow glow.

"A sphere?" Arnold was dumbfounded. "Why has my soul turned into a sphere?"

What Arnold did not know was that the form of a soul was not fixed. Some Deity-level experts had souls shaped like sabers or swords. The undead of the Underworld, for example, had souls in the form of flames, known as Soulfire.

The form of a soul was related to the path each person cultivated.

Although Arnold's soul had transformed and reached the Saint Domain stage, he was not yet a Saint Magus.

That was because his magical power was insufficient. Previously, Arnold possessed only the amount of magical power of an early Ninth-level mage. In just over ten days, his spiritual power had surged dramatically, but his magical power had failed to keep pace.

Fortunately, refining magical power was quite fast, so Arnold was not worried. As for whether he needed to interact with the Eighth-level and Ninth-level mages of the Magnolia Empire, there was no need. There was no need to seek out Saint Magi for discussions either. He could wait until he had refined enough magical power.

That said, during those dozen or so days on the Magnolia River, Arnold had unconsciously refined water-elemental essence into water-element magical power. He had actually reached the level of a Fourth-level water mage, even though he had never cast a single water-element spell.

The next phase was much busier. After slightly increasing the captain's payment, Arnold directly ordered him to turn the ship around. Arnold intended to return to the Warcraft Mountain Range first.

Having received the additional payment from Arnold, the captain drove the ship at maximum speed. Once they reached the nearest riverbank, he immediately stopped. Then Arnold took Pitero onto land, and they hurried toward the Warcraft Mountain Range.

After more than half a month, Arnold finally reached the central region of the Warcraft Mountain Range. There was no need to worry about Pitero, who would naturally focus on refining earth-element magical power. Arnold, meanwhile, began cultivating in seclusion once more.

For an entire month, Arnold devoted himself fully to refining wind-element, earth-element, and water-element magical power.

At last, the magical power within Arnold's body condensed once more, and its quality greatly improved. Arnold had truly stepped into the Saint Domain.

Having reached the Saint Domain, Arnold was overjoyed.

Once one reached the Saint Domain, flight became as instinctive as breathing. There was no longer any need to rely on advanced wind-element magic to float or fly.

Arnold tested his ability to fly in the air for quite a long time, only stopping that foolish behavior once he had grown tired of it.

Having reached the realm of a Saint Magus, he naturally had to begin learning forbidden spells. Of course, some spells were progressive and did not need to be learned separately, such as Earth Guardian Sacred Armor and Shattering Stone.

When he had previously signed the contract with Dawson Commerce, Yale had sent him spells ranging from the First-level to the Ninth-level. At the time, no one had expected Arnold's cultivation speed to be so fast. But when Arnold went to the O'Brien Empire to find Yale, he displayed the strength of an Eighth-level Mage. Yale immediately had his family send over forbidden spells from all four elements.

Arnold naturally committed all those forbidden spells to memory.

Among them, earth-element forbidden spells were the most numerous: Earth-Rending Rupture, Meteorite Descent, Earth Guard, and Pulse Guard.

The water element had only Absolute Zero, while the wind element had Destruction Storm and Dimensional Blade.

Now that he had reached the Saint Domain, there were far too many spells to study. However, the first one he naturally chose was his favorite, the Greater Gravity Spell.

When he had first reached the lower Ninth-level, Arnold had pushed the gravity produced by the Greater Gravity Spell to its limit of five times. Now that he had reached the Saint Domain and his spiritual power had greatly increased, that limit would surely rise once again.

After spending an entire month continuously making subtle adjustments to the Greater Gravity Spell's incantation and testing its effects, Arnold finally brought the gravity it could now release to five times.

Originally, Arnold could have continued deducing the Greater Gravity Spell's incantation and raised its maximum gravity even further, but he did not do so for the moment.

Because he had never forgotten about Gravity Prison.

Having reached the Saint Domain, Arnold had gained a deeper understanding of Laws.

A Law was composed of multiple Profound Truths. As for the Earth Law, Arnold had directly deduced five types of Profound Truths. He estimated that a Law consisted of no more than nine Profound Truths.

Moreover, these Profound Truths could actually be fused. This was one of Arnold's major discoveries. For example, years ago, Arnold had combined Earth Guardian Sacred Armor with Vibrational Force to develop a new spell, Earthquake Sacred Armor. Earthquake Sacred Armor was actually formed by fusing the Earth Element Profound Truth and the Earth Fluctuation Profound Truth, though the degree of fusion between those two Profound Truths was still extremely shallow.

The Gravity Profound Truth was Arnold's favorite Profound Truth. He wanted to fuse the Gravity Profound Truth with the Earth Element Profound Truth and truly perfect his ultimate move, Gravity Prison.

Through his constant study of gravity, Arnold estimated that the Gravity Profound Truth could produce a maximum gravity of around a thousand times.

Fusing merely five times gravity with the Earth Element had already been so difficult. Once the gravity limit became higher, the difficulty of fusion would only increase further.

If he prepared now for the fusion of the Gravity Profound Truth and the Earth Element Profound Truth, the difficulty would be much lower.

Next, Arnold once again began deducing the fusion of the Gravity Profound Truth and the Earth Element Profound Truth.

After all, his soul had grown stronger, greatly increasing Arnold's speed of deduction. Two months later, Arnold fused the Gravity Profound Truth with the Earth Element Profound Truth and truly achieved Gravity Prison.
