Earth in Uproar

The Pegasus Knights' discipline and combat proficiency astonished Ryan.

He had expected it would take ten minutes, perhaps even longer, for them all to reach Mars. Yet in barely half the estimated time, all one hundred thousand Pegasus Knights had passed through the World Portal and arrived at the Mars Base.

During that time, Ryan roughly calculated the Pegasus Knights' flight speed. Thanks to legion buffs, equipment buffs, and other factors, an ordinary Pegasus Knight should be able to break the sound barrier at full speed.

That was already terrifying. It meant that even an ordinary soldier of the Pegasus Legion could hold an overwhelming advantage over Earth's air forces.

After all, living creatures were far more agile and responsive than machines. Not to mention that, as level forty-five elves, their dynamic vision, reflexes, and physical capabilities had already reached monstrous levels. Even bullets fired from aircraft cannons were plainly visible to them.

Saying a single Pegasus Knight could crush Earth's conventional air forces would be underestimating Earth too much, but one Pegasus Knight holding their own against dozens of fighter jets should not be a problem.

Of course, that assumed Earth did not develop weapons specifically designed to counter enemies like Pegasus Knights. But if Earth could advance its military technology, Nazarick could do the same...

"Lord Ryan?"

Albedo called softly, concern visible in her eyes.

"Oh, it's nothing. I was just estimating the Pegasus Knights' combat power."

Ryan came back to his senses and explained briefly. He walked over to the Sun Chariot and stored it in his personal space.

Ryan had always kept his distance from items that practically announced their use to the whole world. After all, his experiences over the past ten years had made him accustomed to being cautious.

Still, when he thought about
