War Begins II

Odin appeared within a pillar of light. After blasting Sebas away with a single spear strike, he turned his gaze toward Ryan.

He had nearly lost his son—so very nearly.

Rainbow pillars of light flashed continuously across the skies above New York.

After each pillar flashed, a small elite force appeared out of thin air.

In mere moments, an Asgardian Army no less formidable than the Pegasus Legion had gathered behind Odin.

"Lord Ryan, what is going on here?!"

Watching this sudden turn of events, the president suppressed his anger as he questioned him.

Earthlings did not wish for war, but they did not fear it either!

"It has nothing to do with me, Mr. President."

"You must believe me. If I had truly decided to invade Earth, I would not resort to such petty tricks. I would crush it openly with a grand army. Those people belong to another faction!"

Ryan's exceedingly calm words made everyone who heard them loosen up slightly.

Whether Ryan was telling the truth or not, at least it seemed there was no immediate intention of completely turning against them.

The leaders of many nations also temporarily suppressed their plans to launch an immediate attack and seize the initiative.

War was the final and worst option.

After being sent flying by the spear strike, Sebas stopped in midair and did not continue his attack.

The old man with the white beard contained strength that was arguably the greatest Sebas had ever seen.

Of course, the main reason he did not continue attacking was the order Ryan had just given.

Otherwise, even if Odin were ten thousand times stronger, he would not hesitate in the slightest.
