The War's End II

"Loki, take him back and interrogate him. I'll hold her off!"

Thor threw the captured soldier to Loki and charged at Sylph himself.

Loki caught him, looked up at the two fighting, then ran toward the camp without a word.

Since some of Nazarick's personnel were changing equipment at Mars Base, Loki encountered little resistance.

When he returned to the camp and used magic to extract the intelligence, his expression was far from pleasant.

"Well?"

Thor, who had just returned from the fight, asked impatiently.

"Nothing useful. This guy's rank is too low."

"What do we do now?"

Loki's face darkened. If he had not repeatedly confirmed that his magic was working, the man's complete ignorance would have made him suspect the soldier was playing him!

"There's no good solution. For now, we can only..."

"Lord Thor!"

Just as Thor was speaking, a soldier suddenly rushed in with a panicked expression, pointing outside.

Thor and Loki's expressions changed when they saw it. They hurried out of the camp and looked toward the horizon, where Nazarick's army, now outfitted in entirely new equipment, formed a dark mass like a black cloud.

After a comfortable night's sleep that washed away all his fatigue, Ryan left his room and wandered around.

Ever since Nazarick had become real, this was his first inspection tour.

He greeted the homunculus maids along the way, and before he knew it, he had arrived on the Eighth Floor, Alva's domain.

"Creator!"

As an NPC personally created by Ryan, Alva had always addressed Ryan differently from the others. Seeing Ryan arrive, he respectfully bowed.

"Just carry on with your work. I'm only wandering around because I have nothing else to do."
