Linley had no time to think and rushed straight toward Clyde's palace. Bebe, who had been waiting outside the Church, swiftly leaped onto Linley's shoulder.

"Boss, you killed Clyde, and the palace is already in chaos. With this magical beast riot, let's hurry and empty out everything in the Fenlai Kingdom. We can collect some interest first," Bebe transmitted to Linley.

"Mm."

With that, one man and one rat sped toward the royal palace of Fenlai City at an astonishing pace. Linley had visited the palace before and was fairly familiar with its layout, so they headed directly for the treasury, their goal perfectly clear.

Along the way, Linley rescued Alice and entrusted her to Director Maia of the Proulx Gallery.

Because the magical beasts had suddenly gone berserk, the palace guards had all fallen into panic. Even the treasury had only a few guards stationed there. Those helpless guards were dealt with by Linley and Bebe in the blink of an eye.

Opening the doors to the Fenlai Kingdom's treasury, Linley looked at the vast number of treasures within. With the interspatial ring he had obtained from Clyde, Linley took nearly everything valuable. However, there were simply too many treasures in the treasury. The items Linley stored away were almost all exceptionally precious, and only after his interspatial ring was completely full did he swiftly flee the palace.

After leaving Fenlai City, they followed the direction of the magical beast riot and continued toward several other kingdoms that had not yet been overrun by magical beasts.

After Linley and Bebe left, several princes of the Fenlai royal palace arrived at the treasure hall under the protection of the Mad Thunder Squad. They stared at the treasure hall, now in complete disarray.

"Ah! Who was it... Who exactly stole the treasures of our Fenlai Kingdom?" Karey, the eldest prince, roared. But it did no good and instead attracted the attention of magical beasts rampaging nearby.

"Karey, stop talking. Leave quickly. Everyone, take as much as you can, then get out of here at once," the second prince said.

"You all should take some too. Once we're safe, you may keep half of it." He then spoke to the Mad Thunder Squad members. He knew that only by relying on these squad members could they leave the palace.

"Yes!" As soon as he finished speaking, the members of the Mad Thunder Squad immediately looked delighted. Although they had been indoctrinated by the Fenlai Kingdom from childhood to remain loyal to it, now that the Fenlai Kingdom had fallen, some of their convictions had begun to waver.

"Karey, you and your mother take one Mad Thunder Squad and leave. We'll part ways here. I hope we can all survive."

Without waiting for Karey to agree, Shak took some members of the Mad Thunder Squad, grabbed a portion of the treasures, and left in another direction through the palace.

After leaving Fenlai City, Linley continued heading toward the O'Brien Empire.

Along the way, Linley encountered Shak's group together with Prince Loy of the Muhan Kingdom. However, it looked more like Shak's group was forcing Loy's group to travel with them. Shak's party had thirty people, the weakest of whom were Level Seven Warriors, while the strongest were Level Eight Warriors.

During the journey, Shak inadvertently noticed the ring on Linley's hand, and he was certain it was an interspatial ring, because he had seen his father possess one like it.

Interspatial rings were so precious that not even every Saint Domain expert possessed one. Moreover, under these circumstances, they had more than twenty people, so their chances of killing Linley and taking the ring were quite high.
