Naruto sat down beside the drinking table. Kazahana Koyuki was slumped over it, sulking, and he chuckled.
"You people from Akatsuki Village are reaching way too far!"
Kazahana Koyuki raised her head and shouted at Naruto.
After shouting, she downed another huge glass of alcohol, her voice filled with helplessness. "You don't know anything. What kind of joke is this... Who wants to go to the Land of Snow?"
The flush of drunkenness had already crept onto her face. She was about seventy or eighty percent drunk.
Naruto snapped his fingers and tipped his chin toward the bartender. "Long Island Iced Tea. One glass."
Despite having tea in its name, Long Island Iced Tea was actually liquor—the kind that could knock someone out in one glass.
A slice of lemon floated atop the tea-colored liquid. It looked mild and harmless, but its alcohol content exceeded forty percent. It went down smoothly, but its aftereffects could make people black out.
Quite a few girls ended up knowing nothing after drinking it.
The bartender did not even raise his eyelids. "Don't have it."
Naruto paused.
"Bloody Mary?"
"Don't have it."
"Aunt Roberta?"
The bartender finally gave him a proper look. His eyes were full of disdain, and his face plainly said, I've seen plenty of your type.
"This is a vegetarian bar. We only have sake. Are you here to cause trouble?"
Naruto cursed inwardly. What kind of dump is this?
Kazahana Koyuki, who was slumped over the table beside him, could not hold it in any longer and burst out laughing.
Naruto coughed twice, concealing his embarrassment. "Then sake. Bring a dozen."
Kazahana Koyuki and the bartender both looked at him, their eyes conveying exactly the same thing—could you be any more obvious? Who ordered sake by the dozen?
